بررسی و نقد کتاب مقدمه ای بر زبان شناسی شناختی (مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

چکیده
این مقاله با هدف بررسی و نقد کتاب «مقدمه ای بر زبان شناسی شناختی» نوشتۀ اونگرر و اشمیت، ترجمۀ جهانشاه میرزابیگی (1397) به نگارش درآمده است. پس از بررسی نسخۀ انگلیسی کتاب مشخص شد که گرچه این کتاب یکی از منابع اصلی و شناخته شده برای زبان شناسی شناختی است، دارای کاستی هایی است که از آن میان می توان به عدم توجه کافی به بنیاد ها و فرض های اساسیِ زبان شناسی شناختی، جهانی های زبان و تنوع زبانی از دیدگاه زبان شناسی شناختی و نیز بدن مندی و شالودۀ جسمانی زبان و شناخت اشاره کرد. همچنین، هرچند برخی از مباحث مطرح شده در معناشناسی شناختی همچون استعاره، مجاز، طرحواره های انگاره ای و آمیختگی مفهومی به خوبی مورد بحث قرار گرفته اند، برخی از مباحث آن همچون نیروپویایی چندان مورد توجه قرار نگرفته است. پس از بررسی ترجمۀ اثر نیز کاستی ها و ایرادهایی در آن مشاهده شد که مهمترین آنها عبارتند از: معادل گزینی های نامناسب برای برخی اصطلاح های تخصصی و گاه غیرتخصصی؛ اشکالات نسبتاً چشمگیر در برگردان واژه ها، عبارت ها یا جمله ها به فارسی که آنها را می توان تحت عناوینِ نادرستی ترجمه، نارسایی ترجمه و نایکنواختی ترجمه مطرح کرد؛ اشکالات پرشمار در ارجاع های درون متنی و برون متنی. از این رو، پیشنهاد می شود که کتاب از نظر املایی، انشایی و ترجمه ای مورد بازنگری جدی قرار گیرد.A Review of ‘An Introduction to Cognitive Linguistics’
The present paper has been written with the aim of analyzing and reviewing the Persian translation of ‘ An Introduction to Cognitive Linguistics’ by Jahanshah Mirzabeigi (2018). Analyzing the English version of the book revealed that, although it is one of the main and well-known textbooks in the field, it has some deficiencies among which we can mention insufficient attention to the basic principles and assumptions of cognitive linguistics, language universals and linguistic diversity from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, embodiment and the embodied basis of language and cognition. Also, although some issues in cognitive semantics, such as metaphor, metonymy, image schemas, and conceptual blending, are well addressed in the book, some other issues such as force dynamics are neglected. Analyzing the Persian translation of the book showed that there are some deficiencies and drawbacks, the most important of which are: inappropriate equivalents for certain technical and non-technical terms, relatively considerable errors in translation of words, expressions, and sentences, and numerous errors in intra- and extra-textual references. In this regard, it is suggested that the book should be revised in terms of spelling, eloquence, and translation accuracy.
