این مقاله گزارشی از وضعیت آموزش مهندسی متالورژی و علم مواد در ایران در سال 1382 است. در این گزارش به تعداد دانشجویان، نام شهرها و رشته هایی که وجود دارد و مقاطع تحصیلی رشته مهندسی مواد و متالورژی (کارشناسی، کارشناسی ارشد، دکتری) اشاره و اطلاعات و آمار نسبتاً دقیقی ارائه شده است.Branches and Educational Centers of Material and Metallurgical Engineering in Iran
