چکیده
کتاب «اعراب و ایرانیان؛ براساس روایت فتوحات اسلامی» اثری است تخصصی در واکاوی رخدادهای موسوم به فتوحات اعراب در ایران که مترجمی ناآشنا با قواعد ابتدایی تاریخ، نسبت به ترجمه آن اهتمام ورزیده و ماحصل کار او، چیزی جز سیاهه ای از اغلاط فاحش نیست. در این فصل، سعی بر آن شده است تا اشکالات و نقایص عدیده ترجمه کتاب معین گردد، تا بلکه خوانندگان و علاقه مندان نامتخصص دریابند که داخل شدن در امور تخصصی علوم دیگر، بی آنکه اندک آشنایی با ابتداییات آن علوم در اندوخته دانشی ایشان باشد، به چه فجایع علمی خواهد انجامید. امید راقم این سطور آن است که این مَثَل، عبارت آموز ایشان باشد.On the Numerous Flaws and Deficiencies in the Translation of the Book "Arabs and Iranians in the Islamic Conquest Narrative "

The author of these lines hopes that this example will serve as a lesson to them.
