چکیده
مؤلف در این مقاله به معرفی اولین کتابخانه عمومی کشور در شهر تبریز پرداخته و ضمن اشاره به چگونگی تأسیس و شکل گیر این کتابخانه به فعالیت ها، مؤسس، ریاست کتابخانه، واقفان و ... نیز اشاره می نماید. در این مقاله در ادامه به کتابخانه ملتی مرکز ایرانی به عنوان اولین کتابخانه ملی ایران که در طهران دوره مظفری تأسیس می گردد نیز اشاره و چند و چون تأسیس، ریاست آن، واقفان و تنوع کتاب ها و ... نیز پرداخته می شود و در پایان فهرستی از اولین کتاب های این دو کتابخانه ارائه می گردد.Notes on Publishing Books (13): The First Efforts to Establish Public and National Libraries in the Qajar Era
