بررسی نقش منفعت طلبی مدیران بر رابطه بین اجتناب مالیاتی و ارزش شرکت

چکیده
فعالیتهای اجتناب از مالیات اساساً تحت عنوان شیوه هایی برای جلوگیری از انتقال وجه نقد از سهامداران به سوی دولت شناخته می شود، مسئله ایجاد شده در این رابطه این است که اجتناب مالیاتی همیشه به نفع سهامداران نمی باشد و مدیران فرصت طلب ممکن است به بهانه اجتناب مالیاتی، منابع را در جهت منافع شخصی هدایت یا برداشت نمایند، که این موضوع موجب افزایش هزینه های سهامداران و در نتیجه موجب فزونی مخارج اجتناب مالیاتی به منافع آن می شود. بر این اساس در این پژوهش به بررسی نقش منفعت طلبی مدیران بر رابطه اجتناب مالیاتی و ارزش شرکتهای پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران پرداخته شده است. نمونه آماری این پژوهش متشکل از 618 مشاهده (سال- شرکت) برای 103 شرکت طی دوره زمانی 1396 تا 1401 در نظر گرفته شده است که به روش حذف سیستماتیک انتخاب شده اند. نتایج پژوهش نشان داده است که تعامل اجتناب مالیاتی و منفعت طلبی مدیران بر ارزش شرکتهای پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران اثرمعنادار و منفی دارد.Examining the role of managers' self-interest on the relationship between tax avoidance and company value
Tax avoidance activities are basically known as methods to prevent the transfer of cash from shareholders to the government. The problem in this regard is that tax avoidance is not always in the interest of shareholders and opportunistic managers may use the excuse of avoidance. tax, direct or withdraw resources for personal benefits, which causes the increase of shareholders' expenses and as a result increases the expenses of tax avoidance to its interests. Based on this, in this research, the role of managers' self-interest on the relationship between tax avoidance and the value of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange has been investigated. The statistical sample of this research consists of 618 observations (year-company) for 103 companies during the period of 1396 to 1401, which were selected by systematic elimination method. The results of the research have shown that the interaction of tax avoidance and managers' self-interest has a significant and negative effect on the value of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange.
