چکیده
بیان مسئله : بازآفرینی شهری و حفاظت شهری، زاده تغییر در دو جریان حفاظت و توسعه هستند. هر دو رویکرد در طی دهه ها در تلاش برای نزدیک شدن به یکدیگر بوده، تغییر یافته و به تعریف امروزین خود رسیده اند. این نزدیکی تا به اندازه ای بوده که امروزه برخی این دو را یک رویکرد واحد و یکپارچه به شمار می آورند. از سوی دیگر برخی بالعکس، این دو را رویکردهایی متضاد می دانند که سمت وسویی متفاوت از یکدیگر را دنبال می کنند. پژوهشی که به روشنی این دو رویکرد را از یکدیگر بازشناسد و به تشخیص رابطه میان آنها پرداخته باشد و آنها را در فرایند تغییر در شهرها از یکدیگر تمییز دهد وجود ندارد. هدف پژوهش : پژوهش حاضر در پی بازشناسی دو رویکرد بازآفرینی شهری و حفاظت شهری و مقایسه آنهاست. بنابراین پرسش اصلی این پژوهش این گونه مطرح می شود که اهداف، مؤلفه ها و تعاریف دو رویکرد بازآفرینی شهری و حفاظت شهری چیستند و در گستره فرایند تغییر چه شباهت ها و تفاوت هایی با یکدیگر دارند؟ با انجام چنین پژوهشی می توان امیدوار بود که تعادلی سازنده تر در شهرها میان رویکردها برقرار شود. روش پژوهش : در این پژوهش، روش تحقیق از نوع کیفی انتخاب شده و از روش مطالعات مقایسه ای برای تحلیل ها و به منظور استخراج کدهای بازآفرینی شهری، حفاظت شهری و فرایند تغییر از کدگذاری انتخابی استفاده شده است. بدین منظور، با استفاده از روش مقایسه ای متغیرمحور، شباهت ها و تفاوت های بازآفرینی شهری و حفاظت شهری در هر بخش از جنبه های فرایند تغییر مورد تحلیل و مقایسه قرار می گیرند. نتیجه گیری : نتایج تحقیق نشانگر آن است که بازآفرینی شهری و حفاظت شهری یک رویکرد واحد و یکپارچه نبوده و اهداف، تعاریف و مؤلفه های متفاوتی دارند. همچنین این دو رویکرد الزاماً متضاد نیستند و می توانند مکمل و همراستا باشند. علاوه براین، هردو به طور توأمان از مؤلفه های حفاظت و توسعه برخوردارند، اما تفاوت آنها در اولویت بندی توجه به این مؤلفه هاست.Comparing Urban Conservation and Urban Regeneration in the Field of Change Process (from the Perspective of Contemporary Scholars)
Problem statement: Urban regeneration and urban conservation originate from the concept of change in two contexts: conservation and development. For decades, attempts have been made to converge these two approaches by continuously changing and adopting new definitions, to a point where some scholars now consider them as a single integrated approach. Conversely, some studies find them contradictory due to pursuing different directions. However, previous research studies have not explored these approaches together, and their relationship or distinctions in the change process are not yet determined.
Research objective: The present study aims to identify, compare, and contrast these two approaches. Hence, understanding their purposes, components, and definition s (i.e., urban regeneration and urban conservation), as well as their similarities and diffe rences in the change process, is the main topic in question. Accordingly, this study aims at achieving a more constructive dialogue between these approaches in the cities.
Research method: Apart from applying a qualitative comparative analysis for this study, the codes regarding urban regeneration, conservation, and change processes were extracted by selective coding. For this purpose, using a comparative variable-oriented method, the similarities and differences between urban regeneration and urban conservation were compared and analyzed in terms of certain aspects and details in the change process.
Conclusion: According to current results, urban regeneration and urban conservation were not a single integrated approach, as they had different purposes, definitions, and components. Also, they were not necessarily contradictory and could be complementary and congruent times. Furthermore, they were simultaneously associated with components of both conservation and development, albeit with a different priority order.
