This study investigates the integration of post-humanist pedagogies in e-learning for English language teaching (ELT) through the perspectives of Indonesian doctoral students. Post-humanist principles, emphasizing interconnectedness and collaboration, are explored within digital language education contexts. Conducted at Universitas Negeri Malang, the study employed a sequential mixed-methods approach involving 28 participants. Data collection included closed-ended questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, focusing on three key dimensions: relationality, agency and autonomy, and multiplicity and diversity. Findings underscored the preference for collaborative digital learning environments, highlighting peer interaction and the role of adaptive technology in fostering personalized instruction and learner autonomy. The participants also emphasized the importance of integrating sustainability-focused content in language courses to promote ecological awareness. This research advocates for the transformative potential of post-humanist pedagogies in enhancing inclusive, learner-centered language learning experiences that support linguistic diversity and intercultural understanding. Future studies should explore the scalability and socio-political implications of these pedagogical approaches across diverse educational settings to address broader societal challenges and promote equitable education practices.

Identity Construction from a Narrative Perspective (Frame Analysis in Translation of Paratextual Features: Orientalism Concepts & Edward Said in 80s of Iran)(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The world is not a neutral or value-free reality, but each person inevitably experiences it in terms of value. So, every person in the society has a perception of reality and the translator is no exception. However, this has a lot to do with his/her social status. Understanding a symbolic system such as language as a product of culture is done through our expression of reality. Identity construction is somehow related to reality construction. So the main issue is not how the narrative is constructed as a text, but how it acts as a mental tool in constructing reality and consequently, identity. Like the controversial issue of language and thought, it is not easy to deal with narrative discourse and narrative thinking, since the reality existed in the mind, depends on the spatio-temporal framework of the culture in question. In this regard, elaborating on the concept of narrative identity, and the applicability of Goffman’s Frame Analysis in mentioned concept, this paper shows how society, as a cultural frame, forces the translator or the publisher to retell the narrative and to reconstruct the identity, and why this identity formation will be more pronounced in the paratextual elements (translatorial &authorial prefaces). Analyzing the frame of 80s, along with literature and media, it proposes a hybrid model based on Somers’ features (Paul Ricoeur’s Mimesis), and Goffman’s Framework for the concrete manifestation of renarration, and the incorporation of the core conception of identity formation, to indicate how orientalism concepts have been renarrated in translatorial and authorial prefaces of Edward Said’s Orientalism, affected by structure or agency during 80s in Iran, and how these prefaces play a crucial role in framing readers’ interpretation. Finally, it has concluded that, regarding structure/agency, and the involvement of multiple agents in translation, different author-functions and identities have developed through the presentation of the prefaces in question.

کاربست معنی شناسی توزیعی در قرآن، مطالعه نمونه موردی ریشه- واژه «فرح»(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

معنی شناسی توزیعی، روشی نوساختگراست که برای شناخت معنی، به کاربرد واژگان در متون واقعی توجّه دارد و به کارگیری آن، حدود معنایی یک واژه را در مقایسه با دیگر واژگان مشخص می کند. ازآنجاکه یکی از اهداف معنی شناسی قرآن، شناخت واژگان با توجّه به بافت کاربردی آن هاست، بهره گیری از این روش در قرآن اهمّیّت می یابد. در این پژوهش به منظور معرّفی چگونگی کاربست معنی شناسی توزیعی در قرآن، با روش توصیفی- تحلیلی، گام های پیاده سازی این روش در قرآن، چالش ها و راهکار هایی برای برون رفت از آن، با بررسی یک نمونه موردی تشریح شده است. گام های اجرای روش در قرآن عبارت اند از: تعیین واژگانی برای مقایسه با واژه اصلی، تعیین ویژگی های توزیعی (سوره معادل سند، و عبارت)، پیش پردازش زبانی متن قرآنی و حذف ایست واژه ها، تشکیل بردار بافتی و ماتریس هم وقوعی و وزن دهی عناصر آن، اندازه گیری مشابهت معنایی واژگان و تحلیل آن. مهم ترین چالش های استفاده از روش توزیعی در قرآن، حجم کم پیکره قرآنی، عدم وجود نرم افزار مناسب جهت انجام محاسبات و تفاوت زیاد طول سوره ها در الگوی واژه-سند است. توجّه بیشتر به مبنای روش توزیعی در متن قرآن، عدم استفاده از این روش برای واژگان بسیار کم بسامد و مقایسه نتایج به دست آمده از الگوی واژه-سند و واژه-عبارت، راهکارهایی برای برون رفت از برخی چالش هاست. اجرای روش توزیعی برای ریشه- واژه فرح در قرآن، تفاوت معنای به دست آمده از بافت قرآنی (نزدیک به حوزه معنایی تکبّر)، نسبت به معنای غالبی ذکرشده در لغت نامه ها (شادی) را نشان می دهد.

Although instructional strategies, obstacles, solutions, and technologies designed to assist students with special educational needs (SEN) learning a foreign language were much discussed both in special and inclusive schools, little evidence addresses how English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers construct their identities as legitimate inclusive school practitioners as they witnessed and encountered a range of disabilities. To fill this void, this study reports on a narrative inquiry scrutinizing how Indonesian inclusive EFL teachers construct their identity in teaching 15 students with SEN. Drawing upon Johnston's framework of teacher identity, this study showcases how inclusive EFL teachers cultivated a positive rapport with students with SEN through the utilization of a personal approach and the incorporation of humor in teacher-student relation. Regarding professionalism, they perceived it as service-oriented by consistently motivating all of their students, particularly those with SEN, exhibited tolerance for the regular ones, and implemented co-education or peer-mediated instruction strategies. In light of teachers’ religious beliefs in English language teaching (ELT), they accomplished well by embedding numerous character values, referred to as profile pelajar pancasila, in English classrooms. The implications of this study are to bring potential implementations of specialized teaching strategies training of professional development for inclusive EFL teachers and differentiated assessment for students with SEN.

This study explores how Lacanian psychoanalysis governs and understands the mother-child relationships in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie (1944/2014) and Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan (2010). In so doing, the primary purpose of this study has been to establish the links between the central characters' behaviors and the psychoanalytic concept of 'deferral of desire’.' The research proposes a novel aspect of 'psychoanalytic meaning' by basing it on the counter-intuitive process of evading the jouissance of actualizing and immersing oneself in one's object of desire. To support the proposition mentioned above, this study has explored the eventual fate of the children in Black Swan (Nina), and The Glass Menagerie (Tom and Laura), analyzing their respective experiences of (dis)satisfaction after their ultimate success or failure in their attempts to attain their objects of desire . This study has employed the Lacanian psychoanalytic concepts of the objet petit a and register theory to posit that satisfaction lies not in obtaining one’s object of desire, but in repeatedly failing to do so, due to the fact that possessing the object of desire shatters the lack which is the necessary condition of maintaining the desirability of the object of desire. The article concludes that while we are intuitively equipped to think of satisfaction as the effect of the realization of the object of one's desire, psychoanalytically speaking, satisfaction is found in precisely the opposite direction, that is, in a repeated failure to obtain the object of one's desire .

Because of their objective measurement and unambiguous correspondences, syntactic parameters are used as comparanda for deep comparison and relatedness of language varieties. The Parametric Comparison Method (Longobardi & Guardiano, 2009) is based on the hypothesis that syntactic parameters are appropriate traits to use as comparanda for contrastive analysis and distance measurement of language pairs and then to provide language taxonomy. This article addresses the syntactic distance and genealogical taxonomy of language varieties that are closely related genealogically, geographically, and culturally. To analyze relatedness and genealogical issues of Kurdish language varieties and the Persian language, abstract grammatical rules, modeled as syntactic parameters which are applied in the domain of determiner phrase (DP), are used as comparanda. The results show that Laki and Lori are at a close distance from Sorani, and on the other hand, Kurmanji and Kɪrdki are also close syntactically. According to the tree achieved from the syntactic distances, Kurmanji is at one end of the spectrum and Persian is at the other end. Thus, it can be concluded that some preliminary deductions regarding the phylogenetic taxonomy of the Iranian languages and dialects, with a focus on Kurdish language varieties and other related dialects, can be proposed.

Extensive Reading and L2 Vocabulary Development: Exploring L2 Learning Experience through the L2 Motivational Self-System(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Extensive reading (ER) has been widely recognized for its impact on vocabulary acquisition, yet its role in shaping L2 learners’ affective learning experience remains underexplored. In the early 20th century, Palmer proposed ER (see Day & Bamford, 1998) to lead to enhanced reading abilities and motivate L2 learners to read. Although ER’s potential in language development has been widely studied, few empirical studies have examined this connection within the framework of L2MSS. Selecting Dörnyei’s (2005, 2009) L2 Motivational Self-system (henceforth, L2MSS) which links learners’ future self-concept to their motivation and learning behaviors as our theoretical framework, we measured offline ER’s influence on not only Iranian EFL learners’ vocabulary development but also on their L2 learning experience. In so doing, we selected an experimental group (EG) ( N =32) and a control group (CG) ( N =28) from two university-level intact classrooms who were passing their General English course. The experimental group (EG, N=32) read three proficiency-matched graded readers over an 8-week period, while the control group (CG, N=28) used only the coursebook, Select Readings: Pre-Intermediate . The graded readers were selected in such a way to match learners’ current language proficiency as determined by an Oxford and Cambridge Quick Placement Test (OCQPT). Our participants’ baseline vocabulary knowledge was assessed using a teacher-made test, while their baseline L2 learning experience was measured through Li’s (2025) L2 Learning Experience Scale measuring six subcomponents: positive emotion, negative emotion, engagement, relationship, meaning, and accomplishment. The findings showed that both groups had little knowledge of the target words before the treatment. However, post-treatment results showed that the EG significantly outperformed the CG in vocabulary knowledge and reported greater gains across multiple L2 learning experience subscales. These findings have important implications for integrating extensive reading into general English curricula to foster both lexical growth and learner motivation.

Examining the Effect of Item Difficulty and Rater Leniency on Iranian Test Takers’ Performance on WDCT and DSAT: A Comparative Study(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The current paper intends to exploit the Many Facet Rasch Model to investigate and compare the impact of situations (items) and raters on test takers' performance on the Written Discourse Completion Test (WDCT) and Discourse Self-Assessment Tests (DSAT). In this study, the participants were 110 English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students at Vali-e-Asr University of Rafsanjan in Iran. The students were asked to complete the WDCT and rate themselves on that test. Four raters scored the WDCT tests. According to the FACETS results, there were significant differences in students' performance between the two methods. The stable fit statistics and differing levels of difficulty measures for each test method indicated that each test had a unique way of differentiating the test taker's pragmatic ability. Based on the results, both DSAT and WDCT are acceptable measures for pragmatic ability; however, there are some fitness problems in DSAT. This shows the unpredictable pattern of ratings in the DSAT. It is recommended to have rater training to obtain more accurate results from the DSAT. Finally, the implications were discussed.

The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE-A), a widely used high-stakes language proficiency test for university admissions and migration purposes, underwent a notable change from a three-hour to a two-hour version in November 2021. The implementation of the new version has prompted inquiries into the washback effects on various stakeholders. Focusing on a small sample of Chinese test takers (n=10), this paper explores washback effects following the revision of PTE-A and the complexity of test preparation through in-depth semi-structured interviews. The findings suggest a shorter test length is preferred and several different methods are adopted for test preparation which gives evidence to the positive washback. However, participants reported some confusion regarding certain test items, leading to the adoption of construct-irrelevant methods. This, in turn, may affect the face validity of PTE-A. While addressing the literature gap in this field, recommendations for improving the test design to better meet test takers’ needs are provided.

In light of ongoing challenges in writing education and the needs of digital-native learners, this study explored the effectiveness of using the free version of Grammarly in the writing development of EFL learners. Thirty-three TEFL students at Shahid Rajaee University were randomly selected and participated in the study. Using a quantitative one-group design, their writing performance was assessed through six tasks and analyzed via one-way Repeated Measures MANOVA. The results indicated a consistent improvement in overall writing performance through the regular use of Grammarly as an automatic corrective feedback tool. To identify which writing components improved, an RM-MANOVA was conducted on grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity. The analysis showed significant improvement only in grammatical accuracy, with other aspects remaining unchanged. These findings highlight Grammarly’s potential in enhancing grammatical skills. The study contributes to ELT by encouraging the integration of ICT-related content into the EFL curriculum and teacher training programs, emphasizing the role of AI tools in language learning. These findings highlight the increasing impact of AI-powered tools in improving writing skills for language learners. Educators should balance automated feedback with personalized instruction. As research on effectiveness of Grammarly is still limited, further studies are necessary to fully understand its educational potential.

Exploring the Effects of Chatbot-Assisted Language Learning on Learners’ Language Achievement and Sense of Metavolvement(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing language education through personalized and interactive practice. However, its impact on language achievement and emotional aspects of learning is unclear. Therefore, this mixed-methods study investigated the effects of Chatbot-Assisted Language Learning (CHALL) on learners’ English language achievement and sense of metavolvement—the deepest level of metacognitive engagement. In phase 1, the Sense of Metavolvement Scale (SOMS) was developed and validated. In phase 2, following a quasi-experimental design, 44 intermediate Iranian EFL learners were divided into an experimental group (n=22, using the AI chatbot Pi) and a control group (n=22, receiving conventional classroom instruction). Both groups had pre- and post-tests for language achievement and metavolvement, and the experimental group sat for semi-structured interviews post-intervention. There were significant gains in the experimental group’s in-class metavolvement and language achievement. There were also significant differences between the two groups in post-test metavolvement, while there was no significant difference in their post-test language achievement. Furthermore, interview data illustrated CHALL as a low-anxiety practice context with cultural and pragmatic limitations. Therefore, CHALL can complement but not replace conventional instruction.

مقاله حاضر به بررسی زبان شناختی ورود و تثبیت شماری از وام واژه های روسی در گفتار غیررسمی بازیکنان بیلیارد در ایران می پردازد. این واژگان، که عمدتاً در قالب ژارگون رایج در میان بازیکنان رواج یافته اند، نمونه ای از پدیده وام گیری زبانی در یک حوزه تخصصی-محاوره ای به شمار می روند. پژوهش حاضر با روش تحلیل واژگانی و داده های گردآوری شده از گفتار طبیعی، منابع برخط  و مشاهده میدانی، به تحلیل ساختاری و معنایی واژگانی مانند «اودار»، «پیتوک»، «سردنی» و «ووگل» می پردازد. برخی از واژگانِ مورد بررسی (مانند «بیلیارد»، «شار» و «ایتالیانسکی») با ورود به متون رسمی و واژه نامه ها از حالت ژارگون خارج شده اند. یافته ها نشان می دهد که ژارگون بیلیارد فارسی، به ویژه در اثر تماس با زبان روسی، خُرده زبانی پوی ا و ساختمند ایجاد کرده که شایسته مطالعه زبان شناختی مستقل است.

Feature Selection for Kurdish-Persian Bilingual Speech: A Comparative Study of Formant Frequencies and MFCCs(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

This study examines the effectiveness of long-term formant frequency distributions (LTFDs), Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs), and their combined application in distinguishing Kurdish-Persian bilingual speakers. Speech samples were collected from 20 early male bilingual speakers who read the fable ' The North Wind and the Sun ' in Kurdish (Sorani dialect) and Persian. The Random Forest algorithm was employed to analyze the data. Feature importance for formant frequencies and MFCCs was evaluated using the mean decrease in accuracy metric. The results indicated that LTFD measures provided moderate accuracy in speaker differentiation, reflecting their capacity to capture vowel-related articulatory patterns. In contrast, MFCCs demonstrated superior performance, effectively encoding spectral and speaker-specific characteristics. When LTFDs and MFCCs were combined, system accuracy was slightly improved compared to using MFCCs alone. This marginal enhancement underscores the potential benefits of integrating LTFDs with MFCCs in forensic voice comparison, where even small gains can have significant practical implications. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of bilingual speaker variability and provide insights for optimizing speaker identification systems in bilingual contexts.

Understanding Discoursal Causals in Persian: Evidence From Eye-Tracking(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

This article investigates how native Persian speakers process and comprehend affirmative and negative discoursal causal assertions. To examine this, an eye-tracking experiment was conducted with 10 male and 20 female Persian-speaking participants. The main experiment involved 32 Persian vignettes, each containing three sentences: an opening sentence, a target sentence (affirmative or negative discoursal causal), and a concluding sentence. The polarity of the target and concluding sentences was varied (affirmative vs. negative) within participants. When participants heard an affirmative discoursal causal assertion (e.g., Because my skin was dry, I applied moisturizer ), they primarily fixated on the factual phrase ("applying moisturizer"), with a fixation probability of 63%, whereas the conjectural phrase received little attention, attracting only 12% of fixation probability. A similar pattern was observed for negative assertions (e.g., Because my skin was not dry, I did not apply moisturizer ), where participants focused on the factual phrase ("not applying moisturizer"), attracting only 63% of fixations, largely ignoring the conjecture, with a fixation probability of only %19. Fixation data confirmed that factual phrases consistently received more attention than conjectural ones during early processing stages. In the final analysis, the effect of specificity on fixation patterns was tested. Results showed that specificity did not significantly influence either early attention or increased attention to factual content across polarity conditions. Overall, the findings align with Mental Model Theory, emphasizing the cognitive priority given to factual representations

Comparing the Effectiveness of AI Chatbots and Traditional Teaching in Academic Writing Instruction

AI-enabled solutions and systems, including AI chatbots, are revolutionizing teaching and learning processes in language education programs and language classrooms, profoundly changing traditional methodology and pedagogy. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of implementing and utilizing three AI chatbots, Claude, Chat GPT, and Google Gemini, with traditional instruction in an academic writing course at Ilam University, Iran. To this end, of 39 TEFL MA students enrolling in an academic writing course, four homogeneous classes of nine students were organized. In three classes, the three AI chatbots were used for providing feedback, correction, revision guidance, and tips for outlining, moves, and paragraph organization. A class with traditional teacher-centered instruction was also organized. At the end of the course, students in all four classes were tasked with writing two essays. A team of three raters was asked to rate the essays based on a common rubric. The rating results showed that students who received AI-enhanced instruction through the use of Claude achieved the highest scores, followed by those who received instruction with ChatGPT and Google Gemini, respectively. The participants in all three AI-enabled classes outperformed the participants in the class with traditional instruction. The rating results confirmed the effectiveness of AI-enhanced writing instruction, highlighting Claude as the most effective AI tool, and ChatGPT and Google Gemini in the second and third ranks, respectively. Based on the course outcomes, AI-enabled writing instruction is more effective than traditional instruction.

One effective method for improving EFL learners' foreign language communication skills is to learn L2 words and use them in speaking. For this reason, researchers aim to assist learners in acquiring vocabulary to the greatest extent possible. The present study investigated the impact of EFL teacher code-switching (CS) and English-only (EO) instructions on vocabulary acquisition in EFL learners aged 10 to 13. Fifty-six early adolescent learners participated in storytelling activities under the CS or EO conditions. The key difference between the two was that, in the CS group, the teacher used the learners' L1 for teaching vocabulary. In contrast, instruction was conducted solely in English in the EO condition. Results indicated that switching to learners' L1 enhanced vocabulary acquisition more effectively than English-only instruction, and this effect persisted in a delayed post-test two weeks later. Therefore, it can be concluded that teaching new vocabulary via teacher’s resorting to the learners’ L1 through storytelling activities brought about significant gains in remembering the target words in CS condition; hence, for more effective mastery of the new vocabulary among early adolescent learners, it is suggested to present the words in learners’ first language instead of presenting them in lengthy English explanations. The study has practical implications not only for early adolescent EFL learners’ classrooms but also for other learners of different age groups to maximize their vocabulary learning and performance through teachers’ justified amount of L1 use.

مقایسهٔ الگوهای تحقق کنش گفتاری عذرخواهی در میان فراگیران روسی و ایرانی زبان انگلیسی به عنوان زبان خارجی و گویشوران بومی زبان انگلیسی: یک مطالعه بین فرهنگی(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

این مطالعه به عنوان بخشی از پروژه الگوهای تحقق کنش گفتاری بین فرهنگی، به دنبال بررسی راهبردهای عذرخواهی (apology strategies) مورد استفاده دانشجویان ایرانی و روسی است که زبان خارجی را در بافت های رسمی و غیررسمی می آموزند. افزون بر آن، هدف این تحقیق کشف تأثیر فاصله اجتماعی و تسلط اجتماعی بر فراوانی راهبردهای عذرخواهی و تشدیدکننده های درونی در زبان های روسی، فارسی و انگلیسی است. در این بررسی ۸۴ شرکت کننده در دو موقعیت ایفای نقش عذرخواهی شرکت کردند و سپس طبق طبقه بندی مقوله عذرخواهی بلوم-کالکا، هوس و کاسپر کدگذاری شدند و مورد تحلیل قرار گرفتند. نتایج نشان داد فراگیران زبان های خارجی فارسی و روسی در مقایسه با گویشوران زبان انگلیسی از ساختارهای کاربردشناختی فرمول دار بیشتری استفاده کردند که بیشترین فرمول معناشناختی عذرخواهی مورد استفاده در زبان فارسی، ابزارهای نشان دهنده کنش منظوری (IFID) و در زبان روسی ابزار توضیح یا بیان علت است. همچنین، ارزش متغیرهای خارجی بافت بر فراوانی تشدیدکننده های درونی در موقعیت های مختلف تأثیر داشت. افزون بر آن، مفاهیم ضمنی حاصل از این مطالعه برای ارتباطات درون فرهنگی مورد بحث و نظر قرار گرفت.

روابط اجتماعی افراد سبب ایجاد قدرت نابرابر در جامعه می گردد. قدرت علاوه بر نابرابری ناپایدار است و افراد پیوسته در حال تلاش برای حفظ روابط قدرت خویش هستند. زبان یکی از مؤلفه های اصلی است که روابط نابرابر قدرت را آشکار می کند و در تحلیل گفتمان انتقادی که از نظریه های کارآمد برای تحلیل قدرت است، نقش برجسته دارد. نورمن فرکلاف از نظریه پردازان برجسته تحلیل گفتمان انتقادی به نقش نابرابر قدرت در روابط اجتماعی تأکید می کند. در این پژوهش منظومه لیلی و مجنون نظامی و جامی با استفاده از الگوی سه بعدی فرکلاف و تأکید بر مؤلفه قدرت تحلیل شده است. دستاوردهای این پژوهش نشان می دهد، شرایط اجتماعی متفاوت سبب تغییر نقش قدرت در منظومه نظامی و جامی است. تأثیر تصوف و عرفان رایج در محیط اجتماعی جامی سبب نتیجه گیری و پایان متفاوت می شود. مجنون به عشق الهی متصل می گردد و عشق مجازی را رها می کند. نظامی که برای نقش زن در اجتماع ارزشی متفاوت قائل است، عشق را به نام لیلی و پس از آن مجنون ختم می کند.

تأثیر تماس زبانی بر مؤلفه هایی از ترتیب واژه در گویش عربخانه: رویکردی رده شناختی(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

در این مقاله آرایش واژه ها در گونه عربیِ منطقه عربخانه در 90 کیلومتری جنوب بیرجند (خراسان جنوبی) از منظر رده شناسی آرایش واژه درایر مطالعه شده است. در این راستا، ویراست جدید کتاب رده شناسی زبان های ایرانیِ دبیرمقدم جهت بررسی رده شناختی الگو قرار گرفت. گونه عربیِ عربخانه، گویشی است آمیخته از عربی و فارسی که در همه سطوح (آوایی، واژگانی و دستوری) تأثیر زیادی از فارسیِ پیرامون پذیرفته است. در مورد مدت تعامل این زبان ها در منطقه مزبور اختلاف نظر وجود دارد. در پژوهش حاضر سؤالی که ذهن نویسندگان را به خود معطوف داشت این بود که گویش عربخانه در چه مؤلفه هایی از الگوهای رده شناختی عربیِ معیار دور شده و در کدام مؤلفه ها به الگوهای رده شناختی فارسی نزدیک شده است.  در این پژوهش با تعداد 10 گویشور بومی کم سواد (5 مرد و 5 زن) بالای 60 سال مصاحبه شد و سپس داده ها بر مبنای الگوی IPA واج نویسی و نهایتاً بر اساس مؤلفه های مورد نظر تحلیل شدند. در بررسی داده ها، رفتار رده شناختی گویش عربخانه نشان داد که در مؤلفه هایی از عربی معیار فاصله گرفته و در مؤلفه های دیگری به فارسی معیار نزدیک شده است. همچنین در مؤلفه هایی که عربی معیار دو نوع رفتار زبانی را پذیراست گویش عربی عربخانه گونه مشترک با فارسی معیار را پذیرفته و نسبت به کاربرد گونه دوم تمایلی نشان نداده است.

The representation of future pre-configuration through policy-making processes has been an in-vogue area of study in the field of discourse analysis. Equally important is the reconstruction of future pre-configuration in the institutional translations of political text and talk. The objective of this study is to investigate the conceptualization of futurity in the preemptive policy-making in the speeches of the Iranian Supreme Leader and their English institutional translations. The data for the present study comes from 20 speeches of the Iranian Supreme Leader and their translations, spanning from 2015-2020, issued by the Office of the Supreme Leader. We employed semantic-syntactic analytical tools such as mood, modality, and aspect to study the conceptualization of futurity in the policy discourse. In conclusion, the findings of the study indicate that these reconstruction of futurity in the preemptive policy-making process in the English institutional translations are to a greater extent similar to the semantic-syntactic properties of the original texts. However, modalization and mood transformation are instances of differences between original and translated versions of texts. Besides, we argued that any instance of the occurrence of similarity or differences stems from on-line dialectic relationships between micro-pragmatic and macro-pragmatic factors
