چکیده
درباره آینده دانشگاه ها بسیار نوشته اند و از این پس نیز می توان انتظار داشت که اصحاب نظر در این عرصه مهم آرای خود را به نیت تأثیرگذاری در اذهان عمومی و به خصوص مسئولان و تصمیم گیران به جامعه عرضه کنند. در این مقاله کوشش شده از جنبه هایی که احیاناً کمتر از سوی دیگر محققان بدان توجه شده است به مسئله آینده دانشگاه ها پرداخته شود. در آنچه در پی می آید، پس از مقدمه ای کوتاه، که به یکی از مسائل مهم در باب آینده نظام های آموزشی، یعنی تحولات مفهومی و دگرگونی های بافت فرهنگی و اجتماعی و تغییرات فناوری و آموزش عالی اشاره دارد، به مسئله زوال الگوهای کنونی دانشگاه ها پرداخته شده است؛ سپس از تأثیراتی که فناوری های نوظهور بر شیوه های آموزش و فراگیری در آینده خواهند داشت سخن به میان آمده است؛ و در پایان، توضیحاتی درباره آینده دانشگاه و نظام دانشگاهی در ایران داده شده و به شروطی اشاره شده است که برای بقای این نظام می باید تحقق یابد.Our expectations of universities in the next few decades: Developments in universities responsibilities and functions
Much has been written about the future of universities. One can safely assume that experts will continue to present their views concerning this important issue in a bid to inform and enlighten policymakers as well as the public. In this paper, we try to deal with some aspects of the future of universities not much discussed by other researchers. Following a brief introduction to one of the important issues related to the higher education systems, i.e., the issue of conceptual changes, developments in the social and cultural contexts, and technological advances all in relation to higher education, we turn our attention to the problem of the decline of current models of university. We next discuss the impact of emergent (NBIC) technologies on the modes of teaching in future. In the last section we provide our own account of the future of the university in Iran and highlight some of the conditions necessary for its realization.
