For over two decades, the ‘information revolution’ in the Middle
East has been framed overwhelmingly in terms of media, more of it,
and in comparisons to mass media – from the advent of any-to-any
communication to ad hoc conceptualizations such as ‘crowd-sourcing’ or
‘citizen journalism’ – that register the multiplication of voices, channels
and eroding boundaries in spheres of communication. The record has
expanded more than conceptualizations of its sociologies in media and
communications studies. It’s time for other questions that elicit additional
and more basic features of Internet practices from choices that shape
individual repertoires and participation to continuities between users
and producers to how actual practices scale up, which actually link micro
and macro processes. To elicit these broader sociologies, and move
beyond the limited social physics of ‘impact’ of the Internet on culture and
lifestyles, I draw on the related sociologies of reference group and network
theory, on Science-Technology-Society studies and sociolinguistics to
bring disruption of existing institutions, on the one hand, and cooptation
by them, on the other, into more unified theory of the play of information
revolution in culture and lifestyles on the Internet.

حوزه های تخصصی:
The present article tries discovering and reflecting the environmental challenges and issues of the urban space. The various urban communities are faced with different types of environmental-urban issues and this is per se in need of common solutions. Issues like water and land are currently being frequently seen especially in the cities of the developing countries. Similarly, the supply of the citizens’ financial needs is amongst the challenges increasingly reflected and manifested in the urban communities. The emergence of a set of urban challenges would be per se followed by novel and newly emerging issues. Considering the increase in the city dwelling population, these spots need new management and adoption of effective plans and policies. Following the increase in the world’s population since the second half of the twentieth century on and following the change in the population’s lifestyle, particularly the city-dwellers, these citizens have encountered new and unprecedented challenges and any hesitation in responding to their needs would be per se accompanied by new and more problems for them. During the three past centuries, the city’s health and comfortability have been largely jeopardized. The qualitative and quantitative changes in the city’s population during the era after industrial revolution rendered the cities themselves vulnerable from various respects in such a way that various organizations have to be coherently in search of a cure and solution to such problems. While only sixteen cities worldwide had populations above one million people until 1900, the number of cities with multi-million populations has increased since then and this has per se directly influenced the ascending trend of the urban challenges. Although there are numerous urban challenges, environmental problems are more widely observed than the other bottlenecks.

A Review of Infertility, Lifestyle, and Physical Activity
حوزه های تخصصی:
Infertility is a health problem that affects about 10-15% of couples worldwide. Infertility is defined as the inability of couples to successfully conceive a child after one year of unprotected sex. The causes of infertility are often not easily identified. However, this disorder appears to be due to genetic or environmental factors, some of which may be modifiable and may be considered as a treatment option. The use of emerging infertility treatment technologies has been somewhat effective. However, these methods are very expensive and, in some cases, their success rate is relatively low. A sedentary lifestyle can lead to several disorders such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer and conditions such as obesity. Obesity can have a negative effect on the fertility of couples. Overall, it seems that changing the sedentary lifestyle and increasing physical activity by performing regular exercise training can enhance the chances of fertility. However, it should be noted that strenuous exercise training has a negative effect on fertility.

Ways to Achieve “Mutual Consent” in Social Interactions According to Qur’anic Teachings(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزه های تخصصی:
The level of satisfaction of individuals with life is one of the important criteria in the ideal lifestyle, and "mutual satisfaction" is one of the crucial manifestations of "satisfaction with life." Speaking of "satisfaction" in bilateral relationships implies the presence of both "Rāḍī" (well- pleased) and "Marḍīyy" (pleasing) aspects for both sides of these relationships. Considering the presence or absence of these two qualities in interpersonal relationships, three conceivable assumptions are possible: 1) Both parties are "Rāḍī" with each other, hence each party is also "Marḍīyy" with the other; 2) Only one of the parties is pleased with the other, therefore one is "Rāḍī" and the other is "Marḍīyy"; 3) Both parties are not "Rāḍī" with each other, hence neither is "Marḍīyy" with the other. The best case is the first assumption, and the worst case is the third assumption. When we find ourselves in the third situation, we must strive to at least transform it into the second assumption and then elevate the second assumption to the first assumption. But how is this transformation possible? The present study suggests that in one's interactions with others, instead of expecting to find oneself "Rāḍī," one should try to "Rāḍī" the other and let oneself become "Marḍīyy" with the other; because in order to be "Rāḍī" with the other, we do not have control over all the factors that lead to satisfaction, as we cannot determine or change the behaviors of the other party according to our desires. However, everyone has the choice and actions are up to them and can act according to the desires of the other party. If both parties in all bilateral relationships follow this recommendation, they will reach the ideal situation (the first assumption), which means being "Rāḍī and Marḍīyy at the same time."

Ecosystem and the Change of Lifestyle: Adwiata Mallabarman’s A River Called Titash, Manik Bandyopadhyay’s The Boatman of the Padma, and Syed Waliullah’s Cry, River, Cry(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
Adwaita Mallabarman’s (1914-1951) Titash Ekti Nadir Naam (1956), translated by Kalpana Bardhan as A River Called Titash (1993), Manik Bandyopadhyay’s (1908-1956) Padma Nadir Majhi (1936), translated by Ratan K. Chattopadhyay as A Boatman of the Padma (2012), and Syed Waliullah’s (1922-1971) Kando Nadi Kando (1968), translated by Osman Jamal as Cry, River, Cry (2015) are novels which portray the identity of the people of Bangladesh who live by the side of the rivers Titash, Padma, and Bakal. The biodiversity of these rivers was once resourceful, but they lost their flow because of the imbalance in the river ecosystems for siltation, drought, and deforestation. The lifestyles and identities of fishermen and people are greatly influenced by the change of river ecosystems. Different writers in Bengali literature have written about the changes of human life in connection with the flow of different big and small rivers. Mallabarman writes about fisherman (Malo) community who catch fish in the Titash; Bandyopadhyay portrays the identity of fishermen who catch fish in the Padma; and Waliullah writes about the farmers and the people who depend on the movement of steamers and live by the side of a tributary called Bakal. These three novelists show beautiful landscapes of Bengal in different seasons and also show how people become victims with the change of biodiversity and ecosystems. This paper explores the change of the ecosystem of the rivers Titash, Padma, and Bakal which change the lifestyle of the people who are dependent on them.
