Infertility is a health problem that affects about 10-15% of couples worldwide. Infertility is defined as the inability of couples to successfully conceive a child after one year of unprotected sex. The causes of infertility are often not easily identified. However, this disorder appears to be due to genetic or environmental factors, some of which may be modifiable and may be considered as a treatment option. The use of emerging infertility treatment technologies has been somewhat effective. However, these methods are very expensive and, in some cases, their success rate is relatively low. A sedentary lifestyle can lead to several disorders such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer and conditions such as obesity. Obesity can have a negative effect on the fertility of couples. Overall, it seems that changing the sedentary lifestyle and increasing physical activity by performing regular exercise training can enhance the chances of fertility. However, it should be noted that strenuous exercise training has a negative effect on fertility.

Background : Digit ratio (2D:4D) is a marker of prenatal androgen exposure that has been associated with behavioral parameters. Individuals with low 2D:4D are more aggressive and tend to engage in more physical activity. Aim: We examined the relationship between 2D:4D and physical activity, sensation seeking and aggression in mature and immature boys. Materials and Methods: The study population consisted of Mazandaran male students aged 9 to 17 years in 2019-2020. The sample was 218 healthy, cluster randomly selected boys (13.77±2.4 y/o) from three schools with no health issues. 2D:4D digit ratio, physical activity, aggression, sensation seeking were measured. Pearson correlation analyzed variable associations. Significance was considered at P ≤0.05. Results : Low 2D:4D ratio was associated with higher physical activity (r≈-0.27), sensation seeking (r≈-0.3), and aggression (r≈-0.21), during childhood and adolescence ( P <0.05). These relationships among right and left hand 2D:4D ratios with physical activity and sensation seeking remained consistent across maturity levels ( P <0.05). Only immature boys had a significant association between 2D:4D ratios and aggression (r≈-0.29, P <0.05). Physical activity was positively associated with sensation seeking (r≈0.25, P <0.05), but not aggression in mature and immature boys. Conclusion : Prenatal testosterone organizes boys' physical activity and behavioral parameters, influencing the later development of sensation-seeking and aggression and greater participation in physical activity. The study has limitations such as a small sample size and a self-report method for assessing aggression. Future research should focus on behavioral observation methods with larger sample sizes.

Purpose: The objective of this study is to analyse various articles on the effect of various types of exercise on the angiopoietins family and angiopoietin-like proteins (ANGPTLs). Methods: PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus and Google Scholar databases were searched from 2000 to September 2020. After screening the articles, 19 articles that met the inclusion criteria were studied and analysed. Results: In our body, four types of angiopoietin and eight types of angiopoietin-like proteins have been identified, the functional method of some of them which are still not entirely understood. Angiopoietin-1 and angiopoietin-2 are essential regulators of vascular formation and maintenance. Angiopoietin-1 is found in perivascular and vascular cells within and around smooth muscle cells and plays an important role in growth, vascular stability, and pathological angiogenesis. On the other hand, angiopoietin-2 and angiopoietin-3 are mainly involved in inducing vascular regression, cell death, and inflammation. Angiopoietin-4, like angiopoietin-1, is responsible for the maturation, stabilization, and stasis of blood vessels. Conclusion: Studies show that exercise has a significant effect on increasing capillary density in the human body by increasing angiopoietin as one of the angiogenesis factors. In addition, there are many other benefits such as contribution to fat burning and treatment of coronary artery disease, cancer, asthma, and ischemia. More research is needed on the effects of different types of exercise training on angiopoietins.
