چکیده
سرآغاز تجدد در ایران اگرچه با سرآغاز ورود صنعت چاپ همراه نبوده است، اما این صنعت کمک نمود تا در تبریز مدرنیزاسیون کردن ارتش، سوادآموزی و بهداشت عمومی با سرعتی بیشتر دنبال شود. اما در تهران و أصفهان دوره فتحعلی شاه داستان به شکل دیگری رقم خورده و از ابزار چاپ برای توسعه مذهب تشیع و مناسک آن بهره گرفته می شود.Notes on Publishing Books (15): The Growth of the Military and the Public under the Shadow of the Printing Industry An Overview of the Impacts of the Printing Industry on the Development of the Military and Society at the Beginning of the Qajar Era
Although the onset of modernization in Iran did not coincide with the introduction of the printing industry, this industry significantly accelerated the modernization of the military, literacy, and public health in Tabriz. In contrast, during the era of Fath-Ali Shah in Tehran and Isfahan, the narrative took a different turn, where the printing press was utilized to promote the Shia religion and its rituals.
