چکیده
ضعف اقتصادی مصر باعث شده تا این کشور در جهت متنوع سازی روابط اقتصادی و سیاسی خود، علاوه بر حفظ رابطه با آمریکا و سایر کشورهای غربی، به تقویت روابط با کشورهای شرق آسیا و به خصوص چین بپردازد. مشارکت مصر در پروژه کمربند-راه، مهم ترین برنامه این کشور برای گسترش روابط اقتصادی و سیاسی با چین است. قاهره قصد دارد با تأکید بر روابط اقتصادی و پرهیز از روابط سیاسی چالش برانگیز، تحقق ابتکار کمربند-راه را با طرح توسعه کانال سوئز و یا ساخت پروژه هایی نظیر ساخت راه آهن و انتقال پایتخت جدید کشورش همراه کند. پکن نیز در جهت امتداد رشد اقتصادی خود، نیازمند بازارهای جدید و برون سپاری شرکت های عظیم داخلی است و ابتکار کمربند-راه توانسته پروژه های اقتصادی مختلفی را همراه این ابتکار در سراسر جهان تعریف کند. امروزه، مصر و چین بیش از هر زمانی به یکدیگر نزدیک شده اند و رهبران هر دو کشور در گفتگوهای خود با استفاده از عبارت «تمدن»، سعی می کنند اشتراکات خود را در ریشه های تمدنی جستجو و با پروژه های اقتصادی پیوند بزنند. انعقاد «توافق جامع استراتژیک» و همچنین تبدیل شدن چین به بزرگترین صادرکننده کالا به مصر، از جمله نتایج گسترش روابط مصر و چین به واسطه موافقت در اجرای ابتکار کمربند-راه بوده است.Main Drivers for Egypt Participation in the Belt and Road Initiative
Turbulent financial climate in Egypt forced this country to diversify its economic and political relations and renew its relations with East Asian countries, especially China, while maintaining its relationship with U.S. and other Western countries. Egypt's participation in the Belt Road project is the main driver for advancing economic and political relations with China. Cairo is planning to avoid challenging political relations and emphasize on economic benefits to help with Belt and Road Initiative to develop Suez Canal and other projects like railroad and the new capital. Expanding bilateral relations through Belt and Road Initiative resulted in signing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and China becoming the biggest goods exporter to Egypt. China needs new markets and outsourcing to continue its economic growth. It could introduce many new projects through the Initiative and justify its expanse in the world. Today, China and Egypt are closer than ever and their leaders use terms like civilization to deepen ties and mix with economic projects.
