چکیده
جنگ داخلی سوریه که در 7 سال گذشته مهم ترین بحران خاورمیانه لقب گرفته، این منطقه را به صحنه رقابت و تقابل قدرت های منطقه ای و فرامنطقه ای تبدیل کرده است. گستردگی جغرافیای منازعه، حجم بالای خسارت وارده، وقوع خشونت های بسیار شدید و نیز حضور مستقیم و غیر مستقیم تعداد بی شماری از بازیگران نظام بین الملل در صحنه نبردهای عملیاتی موجب شده است تا از این بحران به عنوان یکی از نمونه های منحصر به فرد در یک دهه اخیر یاد شود. ماهیت پدیده های بین المللی نشان داده است که قدرت های بزرگ در یک ساختار چندجانبه، به موازات همکاری و رقابت، درصدد تبیت موازنه قدرت در محیط بین المللی هستند. با وقوع بحران در سوریه نشانه هایی از این نوع روابط میان روسیه و ایالات متحده از سال 2011 مشاهده شده است. روسیه طی سال های اخیر بازیگر اصلی در سوریه بوده و در میان بازیگران خارجی در سوریه قوی ترین طرف بوده است، اما در طرف مقابل ایالات متحده هم با داشتن ابزارهای متعدد و به بهانه مقابله با خطر داعش و جلوگیری از نفوذ ایران در سوریه در این کشور بحران زده به ایفای نقشی پرداخته است که هم سو با منافع روسیه نبوده است. به این ترتیب تقابلی آشکار و پنهان بین روسیه و آمریکا در سوریه پدید آمده است.The Syrian Civil War and Increasing the Confrontation between Russia and the United States in the Middle East
