In terms of data collection, it is a library-based study, and in terms of data analysis, it falls within the category of qualitative content research. Based on the most prominent and recurrent themes found in expert definitions of the broader concept of "socialization," “environmental socialization” can be defined as the process of learning and internalizing environmental attitudes and awareness, and their behavioral manifestation in everyday life. Furthermore, drawing on themes derived from empirical research, the primary contexts in which environmental socialization occurs include residential environments, family, peer groups, educational settings, and media.
Exploring Ethical Purchase Behavior in Tourism Based on Circular Economy: The Mediating Role of Purchase Intention and the Impact of Awareness, Value, and Attitude(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزههای تخصصی:
The circular economy offers a disruptive transition from the traditional linear economy through the lens of resource efficiency, waste reduction, and natural system restoration via closed-loop operations. This research presents evidence of the influence of environmental consciousness, perceived value, and moral disposition on the ethical buying intentions and behavior of European tourists in Tehran in the context of the circular business model (CBM). Furthermore, the role of individual characteristics in the interactions between them is determined. The study used an applied, descriptive-correlational design. Data collection was done through structured questionnaires, and data analysis was done via SPSS 26, AMOS 25, and PLS-SEM. The results show that awareness, value, and attitude significantly affect purchasing intent, and purchasing intent is a strong predictor of actual behavior. The study adds to the argument for sustainable tourism in the literature by recognizing the psychological aspects of ethical consumption in the context of the circular economy. To this end, it provides practical implications for tourism managers interested in designing and implementing more consumer-centric circular approaches. However, due to the use of a limited, local, and self-reported sample, the results should be interpreted with caution and generalizability should be considered.
The Impact of Environmentally-Specific Transformational Leadership on Green Innovative Behavior: The Mediating Role of Green Organizational Identity and the Moderating Role of Organizational Embodiment(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزههای تخصصی:
Global environmental concerns and increasing social pressure to conserve natural resources for future generations have compelled organizations to focus more on their environmental performance by adopting sustainable practices. This study aims to investigate the effect of environmentally-specific transformational leadership on green innovative behavior, with the mediating roles of green organizational identity and organizational embodiment, at Shahid Chamran Hospital in Isfahan. The research is applied in purpose and descriptive-correlational in methodology. The statistical population consisted of 170 managers and staff members across various departments of the hospital. Using Cochran’s formula, a sample of 117 individuals was selected. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted through structural equation modeling (SEM) using Smart PLS and SPSS software. Construct validity and reliability tests were conducted to ensure the quality of the questionnaire. The findings revealed a significant direct effect of green transformational leadership on green innovative behavior. However, the mediating effect of green organizational identity and the moderating role of organizational embodiment in this relationship were not supported. Furthermore, green transformational leadership did not significantly influence green organizational identity, nor did organizational identity have a significant impact on green innovative behavior. These results suggest that if Chamran Hospital implements green transformational leadership initiatives to promote pro-environmental behavior among its employees, it can contribute to creating a more environmentally sustainable workplace, thereby reducing ecological harm and promoting a healthier environment.

Design and Validation of a Civic Education Model for Sustainable Participation in Urban Solid Waste Management(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزههای تخصصی:
Education is the key that leads all waste management programs, ideas, and plans to success. However, many educational initiatives do not foster long-term participation. Therefore, this study aimed to present an educational model for sustainable citizen participation in waste management. This research is exploratory and applied. The study was conducted in two phases. First, relevant literature was reviewed using MAXQDA software to identify and classify the factors and indicators of the model. In the second phase, the designed model was validated using expert opinions and SMART PLS software. The findings revealed 12 components: environmental awareness and knowledge, teaching methods, type of education, media and communications, infrastructure and practical facilities, encouragement and motivation, social support, cultural development and behavior change, policy-making and regulations, social experiences and interactions, sustainable public participation, and governmental support, along with 53 indicators. Additionally, the Kappa coefficient confirmed the reliability of the model with a value of 0.95. The quantitative results also showed that the alpha value, divergent validity, and average variance extracted for all variables were appropriate and had high factor loadings. The highest Q² value was for the media and communications variable, indicating its high predictive power within the model. Moreover, the t-values and p-values for all paths supported the hypotheses of the model and its structural fit.
Empowering Growth: A Systematic Review of Education’s Role in Enhancing Human Capital and Advancing National Development(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزههای تخصصی:
Education plays a pivotal role in shaping societal development, influencing economic growth, social stability, governance, and individual well-being. By enhancing skills, abilities, and individual competencies, education contributes to the accumulation of human capital at both the individual and societal levels. It expands personal freedoms by increasing capabilities, which in turn fosters democratic participation and social resilience. There are two primary theoretical approaches to understanding education’s impact on human capital: the productivity approach and the capability approach. While the productivity approach views education as a means to enhance workforce productivity, the capability approach emphasizes broader cultural and social advancements, seeing increased productivity as an intermediate rather than an ultimate goal. Adopting a systematic qualitative literature review (SQLR) methodology, this study synthesizes peer-reviewed journal articles, policy reports, and scholarly books from reputable sources such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, Scopus, and institutional reports from UNESCO and the World Bank. A thematic analysis was conducted following Braun and Clarke’s (2006) six-step framework, identifying key themes such as education’s role in economic mobility, governance, and global competitiveness. Findings highlight that nations with well-designed educational systems, such as Japan and China, have achieved sustainable economic growth by leveraging high-tech and knowledge-based production. The study concludes that an appropriate educational system is a primary prerequisite for any country’s development, as it determines its position in the global economy. This review underscores the importance of context-specific educational policies that align with broader societal needs. It offers insights for policymakers seeking to bridge the development gap through strategic investments in education.
