(The Impact of Native Social Networking on Promoting Student's Environmental Attitude (Case Study: Eitaa تاثیر کاربرد شبکه های اجتماعی بر ارتقای نگرش محیط زیستی دانشجویان (مطالعه موردی ایتا)(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The growth of social networking has made it possible to define new applications for this tool especially in learning, including formal, informal, and tacit education (visual, auditory and written). The purpose of this study was to explain the impact of the use of Eitaa social network on the environmental attitude of students in three cognitive, emotional and behavioral areas. The present study is the type of applied researches which regarding the purpose, and regarding the data collection tool, it is a semi-experimental study with pre-test, post-test, and control group. The study sample has consisted of 46 students of Payame Noor University of Markazi province that were selected by the convenience sampling method and were randomly divided into two control and study groups. According to the results of the covariance analysis test, it was concluded that there is a significant difference between the three variables in the two stages of pre-test and post-test, which shows the effect of environmental training with the application of Eitaa social network on all of the three dimensions of the students' environmental attitude. The comparison of the mean of the two stages of pre-test and post-test showed that the mean of all of the three variables in the post-test was higher than the pretest. Scheffe post hoc test results also showed a higher mean in the study group than the control group in all three variables. According to the calculated level of effect, respectively about 70, 10 and 14 percent of the variance of the cognitive, emotional and behavioral dimensions of the environmental attitude of the study group was explicitly explained by applying the training method (environmental training of Eitaa).

Effectiveness of Teaching Environmental Concepts through Animism-Based Storytelling on Children's Environmental Knowledge and Environmental Attitude(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

One of the most important recent concerns in the world is the environment and its protection. Environmental education by storytelling, which is based on children's thinking mechanisms, can be considered a method for child education. This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of teaching environmental concepts through animism-based storytelling on children's environmental knowledge and attitude. The research is quasi-experimental, including two groups (experimental and control), a pre-test and a post-test. The statistical population includes all the first-grade elementary school students of Shazand, Markazi Province, Iran, in the academic year 2021-2022, with 17 people in each group selected by convenience sampling. The instrument was Leeming's (1995) questionnaire, which includes two subscales of environmental knowledge and environmental attitude. Data analysis was carried out using multivariate covariance analysis. The findings indicated that there is a significant difference between the environmental knowledge and attitude of the experimental group and the control group. The results indicated that presenting environmental concepts using animism-based storytelling had a significant effect on children's environmental knowledge and attitude. In conclusion, although storytelling can generally affect knowledge and attitude, animism-based storytelling has a more significant effect on children's environmental knowledge and attitude

Explaining the Role of Moral Intelligence in University Students' Environmental Attitude and Morality(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The present study was conducted to investigate the role of moral intelligence in the environmental attitude and morality of the students at the University of Kashan. This research employed a descriptive-correlational design. Three standardized questionnaires, including the Moral Intelligence Questionnaire (Lennick & Kiel, 2005), the Environmental Attitude Questionnaire (Gagnon Thompson & Barton, 1994), and the Environmental Morality Questionnaire (Firoozfar et al., 2019), were used for data collection. The statistical population comprised all 5,597 undergraduate students at the University of Kashan, from which a sample of 265 students was selected using stratified random sampling proportional to size. The content validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by experts, and the reliability of the Environmental Attitude, Moral Intelligence, and Environmental Morality questionnaires was calculated to be 0.82, 0.89, and 0.91, respectively. Data analysis was performed using SPSS22 and AMOS software. The findings revealed that moral intelligence has a positive and significant effect on students' environmental attitudes and morality. Moreover, aspects of moral intelligence, including forgiveness, compassion, responsibility, and integrity, were directly related to environmental morality and attitude. Therefore, based on the results of the study, fostering and enhancing moral intelligence is essential for improving and increasing environmental attitudes and morality.
