چکیده
جان راولز به عنوان یک اندیشمند تأثیرگذار در مکتب لیبرالیسم برای تبیین جایگاه و مفهوم عدالت در عرصه بین المللی، اصولی را مطرح نموده که در عرف بین الملل به صورت معقولانه می تواند مورد توافق دولت ها قرار گیرد و این اصول را به عنوان یک مبنای مشترک و عادلانه مطرح نموده است. راولز در راستای بررسی سیاست خارجی «دولت های لیبرال دموکرات» در عرصه بین المللی، رابطه این دولت ها با دولت های دیگر را تنها با توجه به رعایت اصول برشمرده از جانب آنان مورد ارزیابی قرارداده. بدین صورت، رابطه یک دولت لیبرال دموکراسی با دیگر لیبرال دموکراسی ها و یا با دولت های شریف می تواند در همه عرصه ها و بطور عادلانه و برابر اتفاق بیافتد. البته این رابطه با «دولت های تحت فشار» تنها در قالب کمک های مالی و با «دولت های قانون شکن» صرفاً به شکل جنگ عادلانه متصور است، که از منظر اندیشه سیاسی راولز این مفهوم واقعی عدالت در عرصه بین المللی می باشد.International justice from the perspective of John Rawls' political thought
