تعداد بازدید : ۳۰۸ تعداد دانلود : ۱۷۱
The costs of retaining an existing customer are one fifth of the costs of acquiring a new customer for a firm. This statement is considered as a predominant notion in marketing. According to this notion, existing customers switching of a firm leads to create lots of costs for that firm. Therefore, the present study has been conducted with the aim of finding the causes of the switching intentions and influential factors on the customers switching intentions in Iran Banking Industry. This study is a descriptive-survey research carried out on Iran Banking Industry. 397 customers from five selected banks in Tehran were chosen for this research. In order to examine and analyze the [R1] data, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) have been used. “Satisfaction”, “trust”, “loyalty” and “switching barriers” are considered as the main factors weakening “switching intention”. The findings confirmed that the variables of satisfaction, trust and loyalty have significant negative impacts on the switching intention, but the impact of the switching barriers on the switching intention in Iran banking was not significant. The present research has been conducted only on banking services industry and only in Tehran which reduces the generalizing effect of the study. Moreover, quantitative analysis methods were used in order to evaluate the subjective factors such as customer switching behavior. [R1]Not Of

The applicability of Heidegger’s phenomenology in the study of Islam(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

It is clear that every interpreter brings with him certain conceptions, in most cases unconsciously. But then question arises, which conceptions are right and adequate? Heidegger’s philosophy is concern with preparing the ground for understanding the meaning of The Being by carrying out a subtle and revolutionary phenomenology of the human mode of existence. Since in the Qur`an, too human existence is the object of attention, it should be possible to show that there is some affinity between the idea of human being made explicit by Heidegger’s phenomenology and the idea of human being that is implicit in the Qur`an. To confirm this, the present paper compares the structure which make possible to be human in Qur`an, and in Heidegger’s existentialism. As a result of this inquiry, there is a certain kinship between the Qur`an, and phenomenological approaches to human being, and that based on these similarities there would be two results. First, phenomenology is applicable in Islamic studies. Second, this method will provide us to learn from the Qur`an, what we need for our present life.

From the middle of the first millennium BC, there witnessed a gradual bilateral relation between Iranians and Greeks. These people to people attachments also resulted in interactive influences between these two cultures and arts. Qualitative and quantitative investigation on these interactions is a basic issue in identifying both cultures. The current paper, among all miscellaneous influences of Hellenism on the culture and the art of the Parthian realm, attempts to analyze only the influences of basics and rules of the Greek aestheticism on the Parthian sculpture and come to a historical conclusion based on an inductive method. .

Improving the Quality of Legal Translation through Cultural Transfer(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

تعداد بازدید : ۲۹۱ تعداد دانلود : ۲۳۹
Legal translation is a special type of Language for Special Purposes (LSP) translation involving cross-linguistic communication in the legal context and it tends to involve more cultural specific components. Since the main functions of legal language are normative and performative, it is important to make sure what the actual purpose of the translation of a legal text is. On the other hand, legal translators are expected to produce not parallel texts but texts that are equal in legal effect. So, they must be able to understand not only the legal concepts and the legal effects they are supposed to have, but also how to achieve those legal effects in the target language, especially when it is based on a different legal system. The vast differences in Persian and English legal systems and legal cultures, and consequently the associated incongruity of terminology, highlight the many challenges in legal translation. This paper aims at presenting a strategy through which we can convey the legal culture of SL (Persian) to TL (English) and while creating similar legal effect in TL, improve the quality of legal translation, relying on the two notions inspired by Venuti (1998), i.e. domestication and foreignization. In this regard we analyzed legal translation of 20 Persian to English Divorce Decrees within the domain of Private law, the study of which has been seldom attempted despite the customary presence of these instruments in the legal routine. As a result of this analysis we can conclude that legal texts in different legal systems are translatable and a similar legal effect can be created in TL provided that the legal genre of the source text is preserved and also functional and conceptual equivalences are employed through foreignization and domestication.

This study is intended to examine the relationship between critical thinking disposition and English learning achievement among Iranian high school third-grade EFL learners mediated by emotional intelligence. A sample of 264 students (145 males and 119 females) was assessed for their level of critical thinking disposition and emotional intelligence. Participant's scores on their final English test were also used as the measurement of their English achievement. The results revealed a positive correlation between total critical thinking dispositions (r=.506, p<.01) and its subscales i.e., engagement(r=.33), maturity(r=47), and innovativeness (r=44.6) with English learning achievement. The results also suggested that emotional intelligence acts as a mediator of the relationship between critical thinking disposition and English learning achievement.

A New Decision Making Tool for Feature Selection and Credit Evaluation of Loan Applicants(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

تعداد بازدید : ۱۹۹ تعداد دانلود : ۲۰۹
In this study, an evaluation model is developed to assess the credibility of the loan applicants. The proposed model is a multicriteria decision making (MCDM) problem consisting of numerous criteria by integrating analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and genetic algorithm (GA). In the case of apparent consensus for several measures, the research clearly indicates that both quantitative and qualitative information must be employed in evaluating loan applicants. The AHP approach is widely used for MCDM in various scopes. In 2008 Lin et al proposed the adaptive AHP approach (A 3 )in order to decrease the number of steps for checking the inconsistency in the AHP model. The study presents a MCDM model by developing the new adaptive AHP approach (N_A 3 ) already proposed by Herrera-Viedma in 2004. The proposed model has led to fewer calculations, and less complexity. The model was applied to 200 clients in order to show its efficiency and applicability. A brief look at the implementation of the model showed that it is significantly valid in selecting clients with respect to the known criteria, besides decision making regarding the determination of the assessment factors.
