مقایسه تأثیر الگوهای آموزش مستقیم و ساختارگرایی بر افزایش دانش تلفیق تکنولوژی دانشجو معلمان(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

هدف از پژوهش حاضر، مقایسه تاثیر الگوی آموزش مستقیم با الگوی ساختارگرایی برافزایش دانش تلفیق تکنولوژی بود. چارچوب دانش تکنولوژیک پداگوژیک محتوا (TPACK) به عنوان الگوی کاربردی برای تعریف، اجرا و ارزیابی تلفیق تکنولوژی به کار گرفته شد. به منظور اجرای پژوهش از روش شبه آزمایشی با دو گروه آزمایش و نیز طرح پیش آزمون و پس آزمون استفاده شد. به این منظور، دوکلاس با تعداد نمونه 44 نفر از دانشجویان گروه تکنولوژی آموزشی (درس پروژه) با روش نمونه برداری خوشه ای تصادفی انتخاب شدند. در ابتدای دوره آزمون TPACK برای ارزیابی دانش تلفیق تکنولوژی به دانشجویان هر دو گروه به عنوان پیش آزمون داده شد. گروه های نمونه برای یک ترم کاربندی های آزمایشی را دریافت کردند (15 جلسه). به گروه آزمایش اول با الگوی آموزش مستقیم و گروه آزمایش دوم با استفاده از الگوی ساختارگرایی آموزش داده شد. محتوای درس علوم ابتدایی برای آموزش در دو گروه به عنوان محتوای لازم برای تلفیق تکنولوژی در تدریس انتخاب شد. در پایان ترم، داده های حاصل از پیش آزمون و پس آزمون، با استفاده از آزمون کوواریانس تحلیل شد. نتایج حاصل نشان داد بین تاثیر دو الگوی آموزش مستقیم و الگوی ساختارگرایی بر افزایش دانش تکنولوژیک پداگوژیک محتوا (TPACK) و مؤلفه های آن برتری معنی داری وجود ندارد(05/0> P).

The Effect of Computer-Assisted Language Learning Project (CALLP) on Yemeni EFL Student Teachers’ Perceived TPACK Self-Efficacy

Though English Language Teacher Education Programs (ELTEPs) in Yemen offer two technology-related courses for EFL student teachers, they have not rendered a course for CALL as part of their curricula. Therefore, a pioneering initiative of Computer Assisted Language Learning Project (CALLP) was implemented to expose EFL student teachers to CALL concepts and skills. This quasi-experimental study aimed at examining the effect of CALLP on student teachers’ perceived self-efficacy using the EFL student teachers’ technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK)-for-EFL self-efficacy survey (known as TPACK-EFL). The study employed a one-group pre-test-post-test design and a mixed-method approach for collecting data from a sample of 400 EFL student teachers in four public universities across the country. The findings revealed that student teachers’ perceived TPACK self-efficacy significantly increased as a result of CALLP. Furthermore, the participants believed that the technology-related courses offered in their ELTEPs were not enough to prepare them well to use CALL in EFL instruction. Therefore, it was recommended that a CALL course should be integrated into ELTEPs to enhance student teachers’ CALL competency and to make them fit to harness CALL while teaching in the digital era.

Online Teacher Quality and TPACK Framework of Knowledge: EFL Pre-service Teachers' Views

This study aimed at examining prospective EFL teachers' views about quality of online English language teaching and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and the related skills. To this end, the viewpoints of 100 graduate students of TEFL (M = 23, F = 77) at Iran University of Science and Technology were investigated via administering two questionnaires, namely online teacher quality and frames of knowledge and skills, along with two-open ended questions to gain more insight into online teacher quality and their knowledge frames. Internet-based survey method was employed to administer the questionnaires and collect the required data. The quantitative and qualitative data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistics and thematic analysis, respectively. With regard to online teacher quality, the results revealed that pre-service teachers agreed that an online teacher should be an organized mediator, communicator, and problem solver as well as being highly passionate, energetic, and competent in teaching. The results also indicated that having content and pedagogical knowledge, clearly organizing and structuring content, time management skills, using appropriate resources, and providing feedback and multiple opportunities for communication were the most significant knowledge types required of an online language teacher. Considering online teaching skills, effective online communication skills, effective content delivery, technological skills, and effective evaluation and assessment were the most frequent skills suggested for online language teachers. The findings of this study could give more insights into designing knowledge-based and skills-based professional development programs for prospective teachers to enhance the quality of their online teaching.

Assessment and Development of Iranian EFL Teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK)(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Theory and practice are two sides of one coin, and the way they are perceived adds to its practice. This holds true regarding teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) literacy status and its implementation. To shed more light on these issues in the Iranian EFL setting, t his study was designed to pursue a three-fold purpose: the status quo of the Iranian EFL teachers' TPACK literacy, the contribution of TPACK literacy, and perception developments in the light of TPACK intervention. For the intervention purpose, TPACK workshops were implemented with 15 teachers through employing the TPACK framework and the learning by doing method. The results of chi-square data analysis showed statistically significant differences between the participants’ TPACK literacy before and after TPACK workshops and also positive contributions of the intervention. Moreover, it was observed that participants’ perceptions towards TPACK literacy developed in the light of TPACK workshops. Thereby, the study develops a new perspective and provides empirical evidence to investigate incorporating technology and knowledge into teaching English and Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in Iran. Also, the theoretical and pedagogical recommendations for future research and practice are provided.

صلاحیتهای تدریس مبتنی بر فاوا برای آموزش ریاضی: مقایسه دانشجو- معلمان با مهارت آموزان ماده 28(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

هدف این پژوهش مقایسه دانشجو- معلمان و مهارت آموزان ماده 28 از لحاظ صلاحیتهای تدریس مبتنی بر فاوا در آموزش ریاضی بود. روش این پژوهش از نوع شبه تجربی با طرح گروههای ایستا بود که 20 نفر از دانشجو- معلمان و 20 نفر از مهارت آموزان ماده 28 استان آذربایجان شرقی در سال تحصیلی 98- 1397 نمونه آن بودند. هر دو گروه محتوای آموزش ریاضی دوره ابتدایی را با استفاده از نرم افزارهای چندرسانه ای و در محیط نرم افزار استوری لاین دریافت کردند. برای اندازه گیری سطح متغیر TPACK [تی پک (دانش محتوایی، پداگوژیکی و فناورانه)] از پرسشنامه سنجش دانش محتوایی ساهین (2011) با شش خرده مقیاس تی پک دانش محتوا، دانش پداگوژی، دانش فناوری، دانش آموزش محتوا، دانش پداگوژی/ فناوری و دانش محتوا/ فناوری استفاده شد که روایی و پایایی آن پس از اجرای مقدماتی در سطح مطلوب ارزیابی شد و برای سنجش سطح متغیر دانش، نگرش، مهارت و خودکارآمدی رایانه ای، پرسشنامه صلاحیتهای مبتنی بر فاوای سراجی و رستمی (1395) با 33 گویه به کار برده شد که مقدار پایایی کلی پرسشنامه 0/89= α بود. نتایج با اجرای پیش آزمون و پس آزمون نشان داد که میانگین نمرات دانشجو- معلمان در مؤلفه های دانش محتوا، دانش پداگوژی، دانش فناوری، دانش آموزش محتوا، دانش پداگوژی/فناوری و خودکارآمدی رایانه ای بالاتر از مهارت آموزان ماده 28 است و این اختلاف در سطح اطمینان پنج درصد معنادار است. میانگین نمرات گروه ماده 28 در مؤلفه های دانش محتوا/فناوری، دانش شناختی فناوری و مهارت به کارگیری فناوری بالاتر از میانگین نمرات دانشجو- معلمان بوده است و این اختلاف در سطح اطمینان پنج درصد معنادار است. همچنین، نتایج نشان می دهد که هر دو گروه در نگرش به فاوا و عملکرد تفاوتی با هم ندارند.

TPACK, English Proficiency, and Technology Applications in Pre-service English Teacher Professional Development Teaching Practice(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

English proficiency as the content knowledge for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers determines their instructional quality. However, previous studies have not focused on the significance of this knowledge in support of Teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) on technology adoption in teaching. Therefore, this study aims at finding out the correlation between TPACK and technology applications, and how technology applications link to teachers’ English proficiency levels. The study adopted a quantitative method, and the data were collected using two questionnaires in Likert scale, one for TPACK and another for technology application. Teachers’ English proficiency levels are determined using the content knowledge dimension of TPACK. The questionnaires were completed online by 74 English pre-service teacher graduates who had participated in a national teacher certification program involving real teaching practice. The data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation coefficient to determine the correlation between TPACK dimensions and technology adoption and ordinal logistic regression analysis to find out the effect of teachers’ English proficiency levels on technology applications. The results show that most TPACK dimensions correlate to technology applications with the level of correlations between 0.26 (weak) and 0.47 (moderate). English proficiency has been found to affect technology applications only among teachers who regularly used technology in teaching. Teachers with high English proficiency used technology in teaching 3.06 times more frequently than those whose English proficiency was low. Therefore, it is recommended that English proficiency development be inscluded in teacher professional development to ensure that teachers use technology in teaching
