Social media marketing
Background: Companies in a competitive environment are forced to use strategies that bring them more survival. Consumer satisfaction depends on ethical marketing, which deals with ethical principles and marketing practices and regulations. Evaluating ethical tools in marketing strategies is a strategy that increases the profitability and sustainability of companies due to attracting more customers. Method: This research is a qualitative research that has been done by using the data theory of the foundation with interview tools from the research community, which includes 23 academic experts, managers and experts in the field of marketing and social media who were selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed with MaxQDA software in three stages: open, axial and selective Results: The findings represent 104 open source codes that eventually led to the six main axes in the model. Conclusion: Based on the research results, the model includes influential factors (structural, managerial, store-related and social media-related). Social media marketing is a central phenomenon that includes (advertising, communication, and word-of-mouth electronic advertising). It encompasses the prevailing context (interactive, competitive, and globalizing environment), including intervening factors (religious, technological, and economic) that influence the ethical strategies of social media marketing. Marketing, economic and human resources actions in the form of ethical strategies lead to the formation of economic and user-related consequences.
Identify the Effective Factors and Consequences of Influencers' Behavior in Social Media Marketing(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the effective factors and consequences of influencers' behavior in social media marketing. Methodology: The present study was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection was a mixed research (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical community included academic experts and social media marketing experts in the qualitative section and all Instagram users in the quantitative section. The sample size was estimated in the qualitative part with theoretical saturation (20 people) and in the quantitative part based on Cochran's formula 384 people. Purposeful sampling was used to select the sample in the qualitative part and stratified random sampling was used in the quantitative part. Data collection tools were qualitative, interview and quantitative, researcher-made questionnaire based on a 5-item scale. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed in terms of form and content by several experts, the validity was confirmed by the calculation of the slope and the validity was confirmed by the calculation of the square root of the AVE. The reliability of the questionnaire through Cronbach's alpha for the whole questionnaire was 0.86. Structural equation tests Using LISREL and SPSS software was used to analyze the data. Findings: The results identified 10 components and 63 indicators that 4 components influencing the behavior of influencers in social media marketing including influencer attitude, influencer identity, personal branding and important social events and 6 components of the consequences of influencer behavior in marketing Social media included influencer loyalty, follower persuasion, lifestyle, advertising effectiveness, follower awareness, and entrepreneurship. Conclusion: The results showed that 7 components were considered as factors in the behavior of influencers on Instagram, including attractiveness, reliability, content, reputation, expertise, credibility and nationality of the influencer.
Social Media Marketing to Enhance Customer Equity on Fashion Apparel Brand among University Students(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The motivation of this paper is to examine empirically the effect of social media marketing on value equity, relationship equity and brand equity on fashion apparel brand among Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) students who have high attributes of internet savvy’s and take delight in undertaking social media marketing. This study is backed by the use and gratification theory that creates desire for amusement and enhancement of information while people use social media marketing. Data was collected by means of Google Form online survey from a total of 361 respondents. The simple random sampling approach was utilized to collect data from the respondents and data analyzed using the SPSS. The findings indicated that social media marketing activities, which are entertainment, interaction, trendiness, and customization had a positive effect on customers’ equity among students. The results confirm that social media marketing is one of the key success factors in enhancing customer equity. Further, the results showed that interaction is the first concern among the respondents. In other words, the communication between the apparel fashion brands industry with customers is important and helps to create relationships so that customers can get more information about them.

This research was aimed at develop and validate an influencer behavior model in social media marketing. The statistical population in the qualitative section consisted of Academic and organizational experts including social media marketing experts. A sample of qualitative sample was used for purposeful sampling and in a small part of the compilation sampling. The data collection tool was interviewed in the qualitative section and in the quantitative section the questionnaire was used. Data were analyzed using confirmatory statistical analysis. The results identified 17 components and 90 indicators that 4 components of influencing the behavior of influencers in social media marketing. Finally, the research model consisting of influential and influential factors was presented and its degree of appropriateness was appropriate.
Social Media Value Creation Practices and Interactivity of Electronic Word of Mouth Systems(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The main drivers of value creation in a ‘brand community’ are social networking, community engagement, impression management, and brand use. Marketers are therefore interested in determining which factors affect the value creation practices. This study examines the impact of the Interactivity of Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM) systems on value creation practices in a brand community, which in turn influences the loyalty of the customers. In this regard, a conceptual model was developed and tested by the researchers of the current study. The results indicate that perceptions of the users regarding the interactivity of EWOM systems, highly impact only three of the four value creation practices including community engagement practices, impression management practices, and brand use practices. Furthermore, the researchers found that collective value creation practices could significantly and directly enhance brand loyalty. Several theoretical contributions and managerial implications were also discussed

Background: Destination branding and social media strategy may be a major and strong marketing and promotional tool for destination marketers. Today tourism has been greatly affected by social media platforms. Besides being a major source of information, these tools can facilitate the interaction process among tourists and provide them with customized and personalized offers. These activities can ultimately lead to enhanced destination brand equity. Purpose: The present study attempts to investigate the impact of social media marketing on consumer-based brand equity components for tourism destinations. Method: The sample of the study totaled 149 visitors from Isfahan. Online questionnaires and convenience sampling methods were used to collect data research. The research hypotheses were tested using smart PLS software. Results: The results showed that there is a statistically positive and significant impact of social media marketing on destination brand awareness, destination brand image, destination brand quality, and destination brand loyalty. Conclusion: As the results show, social media marketing is an effective marketing tool to improve tourism marketing that in turn can enhance destination brand equity. These results are beneficial for tourism destination marketers and managers. Social media marketing as a prominent marketing tool can strengthen destination brand equity and potentially influence tourists’ behavior
The Influence of Social Media Marketing Activities on Purchase Intention: A Study of the E-Commerce Industry(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

This paper sought to examine the impact of perceived Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMAs) on customer purchase intention via brand awareness in an online context. An online questionnaire was used to collect data from 188 samples. The data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling approach, and the research hypotheses were examined using SEM. The study measured SMMAs through personalization, customer community, and live video. The results revealed that SMMAs were insignificant towards brand awareness and purchase intention. The result also stated that brand awareness does not mediate the relationship between SMMA and purchase intention. However, brand awareness was found to affect purchase intention positively. The current study introduces the stimulus–organism–response model as a theoretical support to examine SMMAs of e-commerce to customers' purchase intention via brand awareness.
The Influence of Social Media Algorithms on Brand Visibility and Customer Engagement for New Ventures

This study aims to explore how social media algorithms influence brand visibility and customer engagement for new ventures, identifying key strategies and challenges faced by these businesses. This qualitative study employed semi-structured interviews to gather in-depth insights from 18 participants, including founders and social media managers of new ventures. Participants were selected using purposive sampling to ensure relevance to the study's focus. Interviews were transcribed and analyzed using NVivo software, with data saturation achieved after 15 interviews. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify recurring themes and subthemes related to social media algorithms, brand visibility, and customer engagement. Three main themes emerged from the analysis: the impact of algorithms on brand visibility, customer engagement through social media, and challenges in leveraging algorithms. Within these themes, subcategories included platform-specific algorithm changes, content optimization techniques, timing and frequency of posts, interaction with algorithmic features, engagement tactics, content personalization, influencer collaborations, resource allocation, platform dependency, knowledge gaps, and data privacy concerns. Participants highlighted the need for continuous adaptation to algorithm changes, effective content strategies, and personalized engagement tactics to enhance visibility and engagement, while also facing significant challenges such as resource constraints and maintaining ethical practices. The study concludes that understanding and effectively leveraging social media algorithms is essential for new ventures to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to provide a model for Validating and Presenting Brand-Customer Interaction Model in Digital Platform in the Cosmetics Industry.Method: This research was applied in its purpose and utilized a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative). In this regard, this study was conducted with the aim of presenting and validating the brand-customer interaction model in Instagram Platform. The present study is a descriptive survey in terms of its practical-developmental purpose and data collection method. The statistical population in the qualitative section includes marketing professors and cosmetics industry managers, 20 of whom were selected by purposive sampling. The statistical population in the quantitative section also includes customers of cosmetics and health products, 384 participants were selected using the convenience sampling. The data collection tools were a semi-structured interview and a researcher-made questionnaire. First, thematic analysis method was used to analyze the expert interviews. Next, the identified pattern was validated using partial least squares method. Thematic analysis and partial least squares were done with MaxQDA software and Smart PLS software, respectively.Findings: The criterion to achieve data saturation has been to achieve repetition in extracting codes. 235 codes were identified in the open coding stage. Finally, three overarching themes, eight organizing themes, and 49 basic themes were obtained through axial coding. Based on the structural equation model, the proposed model was fitted and confirmed.Conclusion: Based on the results, effective marketing and digital content marketing are the basic elements of the model, which increase brand recognition and brand identity among customers by increasing interaction with customers. Brand recognition and identity contribute to positive word-of-mouth marketing, which in turn affects brand positioning on Instagram. Finally, in this way, it is possible to create a constructive and interactive brand-customer relationship.
Prioritizing Factors Affecting Consumer-Buying Behavior in Online Social Media Marketing(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to prioritize the factors affecting consumer-buying behavior in online social media marketing.Method: The analysis and validation of indicators were conducted using the mixed method of structural equation modeling and partial least squares. Additionally, the IPMA matrix was utilized to determine the importance and type of performance of each factor. The research data were influenced by consumer information, predominantly consisting of women with a master's degree aged between 36 and 50 years. The study employed a non-probability sampling method common for online surveys, and 466 individuals were examined using Cohen's effect size formula.Findings: The research findings indicated that consumer engagement was the most important factor, and ease of use exhibited the highest level of performance in the overall social media model. Furthermore, consumer engagement was identified as the most important factor, while electronic word-of-mouth (EWOM) demonstrated the highest performance level on Instagram. Conversely, EWOM was deemed the most important factor, with consumer engagement displaying the highest performance level on Telegram. These results can be utilized by marketers to influence consumer purchasing behavior and craft online marketing strategies accordingly.Conclusion: Companies utilizing online social media platforms are advised to enhance consumer engagement and performance by implementing short-term techniques and effective strategies, such as incorporating online chat functionalities in the user environment. Instagram, being the most widely used social media platform and an online shopping hub for consumers, showcased acceptable performance in terms of consumer engagement. Hence, companies need to take measures to elevate performance levels to match their importance. In the case of Telegram, EWOM emerged as the most crucial factor among others, with a commendable performance rating. Businesses can bolster their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) units and enhance WOM initiatives to the fullest extent possible.
