Objective: The present study aimed to predict loneliness based on the perceived parenting styles and parent-child conflict resolution tactics in adolescent girls. Methods: The research used a descriptive-correlational method. The research participants included girls aged 14 to 18 in the lower and upper secondary schools of the east of Tehran in the academic year of 2021-2022. A total of 267 samples were selected using multi-stage cluster sampling. The participants responded to the Loneliness Scale (UCLA) by Russell (1996), the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) by Buri (1991), and the Parent-Child Conflict Scale by Fine, Moreland & Schwebel (1983), which were presented online by teachers and researchers. Results: Based on the data analysis results, authoritative parenting style(R=-.341) at the level (p <.01).  inversely and authoritarian parenting style directly (R=.339) at the level (p <.01) predicted loneliness. Among conflict resolution tactics, reasoning inversely(R=-.180) at the level (p <.01), verbal aggression (R=.359) at the level (p <.01), and physical aggression (R=.223) at the level (p <.01) directly predicted loneliness. Additionally, the perceived parenting style and parent-child conflict resolution tactics greatly affected loneliness in adolescent girls. Conclusion: Teaching authoritative parenting style and conflict resolution tactics prevented loneliness. Meanwhile, the development of interventions and ensuring parental participation had a significant effect on the reduction and prevention of loneliness.

Objective: The purpose of the study was to ascertain the association of family functioning with job satisfaction and job security in female teachers of secondary schools in Isfahan City. Methods: The sample consisted of 103 female teachers of secondary schools in Isfahan City, selected through convenience sampling. To collect the data, the Family Assessment Instrument Questionnaire (FAD) by Epstein et al. (1983), the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) by Weiss et al. (1967), and the Job Security Questionnaire (JSQ) by Nisi et al. (2008), were used to collect the data. Pearson correlation coefficient and Structural Equation Modeling using SPSS – IBM 22 and Smart PLS 3 were run to analyze the data. Results: Job satisfaction was positively associated with family functioning and its subscales. Job security was significantly positively associated with general family functioning and its subscales. Eventually, the results of structural equation modeling indicated that general family functioning was positively associated with job security (p<.05), but it did not have any significant association with job satisfaction. Conclusion:  It is concluded that family functioning has a unique effect on the job security of female teachers, but it does not have a significant effect on satisfaction.

Objective: Intimate partner violence represents a prevalent issue for women and is strongly correlated with mental health difficulties. Previous research has primarily concentrated on identifying factors that can anticipate intimate partner violence, specifically individual and interpersonal factors. This investigation examines the structural associations between autonomy and IPV among Iranian women who have encountered such violence, shedding illumination on the intricate factors contributing to IPV and potential avenues for intervention. Methods:  The research method is a correlation, and the structural equation modeling method was used to test the proposed model. The statistical population was all women referred to counseling clinics in Bandar Abbas City in 2023. Data were collected from a sample of 306 Iranian women who had undergone IPV via purposive sampling method, utilizing a domestic violence questionnaire (Mohseni Tabrizi et al., 2013), basic psychological need satisfaction scale (La Guardia et al., 2000), and Rosenberg self-esteem scale (Rosenberg, 1979). Results: The findings corroborated the appropriate fit of the proposed model and disclosed that autonomy exerted noteworthy direct and indirect effects on IPV, which were mediated through self-esteem. Conclusion: The findings show that with the increase in women's autonomy, intimate partner violence decreases, and self-esteem plays a moderating role in the relationship between these two variables. These outcomes provide valuable novel insights into the intricate dynamics of IPV and hold promise for the development of targeted interventions aimed at preventing IPV and supporting the well-being of affected individuals.

Methods: This study was applied in terms of purpose and semi-experimental data collection method with pre-test and post-test design with a control group. The statistical population included women with marital conflicts in Tehran in 2019. Thirty women with marital conflicts were selected by purposive sampling method and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group underwent 10 sessions of combined emotional and pathological therapy for two and a half months, while the control group did not receive the present intervention. The questionnaires used in this study included the Marital Conflict Questionnaire (MCQ), Anger Control Questionnaire (ACQ), and Marital Adjustment Questionnaire (MAQ). The data were analyzed using covariance analysis. Results: The results showed that the combination of emotion-oriented and solution-focused therapy on anger management (P 000 0001; Eta = 0.41; F = 12.71) and marital adjustment (P 000 0001; Eta = 0.45; 15.25 F) Women are affected. Conclusion: Considering the significant effect of combination therapy based on emotion and solution, it is recommended to use this combination therapy in order to improve marital adjustment and anger of women with marital conflicts.
