Materials and Methods:This research was descriptive and correlational. The population under study was all women applicants for divorce in Ardabil city in 2016 from among whom 106 were selected by available sampling method. Tools of data collection were the scale of violence against women, and questionnaires of alexithymia and social well-being. Data analysis was done through Pearson correlation and Multiple Linear regression. Results:The results indicated that there was a significant positive correlation between alexithymia and violence against women (P<0/05). Moreover, there was a significant negative relationship between social well-being and violence against women (P<0/05). The results of regression analysis showed that 64 percent of the variance of violence against women was significantly explained by emotion failures and social well-being variables. Conclusions:According to the findings it can be concluded that the recognition of emotions at the individual level as well as the identification and description of emotions and awareness of emotions can be effective in improving couples' relationships and reducing family violence. Purpose: The current research aimed to predict social well-being based on parenting styles and internet addiction in students. Method: The research was of correlational type, and the statistical population of the present study included all high school students in Tehran in the academic year 2022-2023. The sample size was determined to be 150 using the Tabachnik and Fidell formula (2007). The data collection instruments in this study included the Young Parenting Inventory (1999), the Internet Addiction Test by Young (1982), and the Social Well-Being Scale by Keyes (1998). The research hypotheses were examined using multiple regression analysis. Findings: The findings indicate that based on the coefficient of determination (R2), it can be said that the predictor variables can explain 59% of the variance of students' social well-being, and among the predictor variables, parenting styles of emotional deprivation, emotional inhibition (p <0.01), abandonment and mistrust (p <0.05), as well as internet addiction (p <0.01) entered the regression equation of social well-being in students with negative coefficients and beta coefficients of 0.226, 0.204, 0.166, 0.164, and 0.381. Conclusion: The use of parenting styles of emotional deprivation, emotional inhibition, abandonment, and mistrust by parents, as well as internet addiction by students, will have a negative impact on their social well-being.

Social well-being is an important aspect of health that has not been given due attention so far. Especially in the teachers' group, who play an important role in nurturing the country's future leaders, and the need to pay attention to this issue is felt. Accordingly, the aim of the present study is to determine the role of optimism and self-compassion in teachers' social well-being. The method of conducting the research was descriptive correlational research. The statistical population of this study consisted of all teachers (male and female) in the primary school of Nimroz city, of whom 148 people were selected using a random stratified sampling method according to the Cochran formula. The research tools used were three questionnaires: optimism (Scheyer and Carver, 1985), self-compassion (Neff et al., 2012), and social well-being (Keyes, 2011). Linear and stepwise regression, Pearson correlation coefficient, were used to analyze the research hypotheses. The results showed that optimism and self-compassion were able to significantly predict the social well-being of teachers in Nimroz city. Among the components of optimism, the component of intrinsic optimism and among the components of self-compassion, the component of self-kindness played the most important role in the social well-being of teachers. Also, a significant relationship was observed between optimism and self-compassion and its components with the social well-being of teachers.
