Natural gas infrastructure is growing and global LNG volumes are set to expand substantially. This results in more trade between different regions of the world and emergence of a more competitive and relatively more integrated global gas market. In addition, several key markets are currently undergoing structural reform with the aim of opening them to competition. In line with these changes in the global market, gas pricing methods also need to be adapted. This paper discusses the challenges of natural gas pricing and price review in this new market environment. Firstly, the current structure of the global and regional gas markets is analyzed. Secondly, challenges in natural gas pricing and price review are discussed, and in this context oil-indexation and hub-indexation are analyzed in detail. Thirdly, the recommended framework for pricing and price review in the more competitive global market are presented. The pricing mechanism and price review framework should be tailored to the characteristics of the gas market and the stages of growth and maturity of the market.

Oil Revenues, Fluctuations in Economic Growth Rates and the Risk of Political Instability in Iran in Post JCPOA(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The present paper is meant to answer the question: How fluctuation in economic growth rate increased the risk of instability in Iran in the Post-JCPOA? In response and based on reliable data and taking a political economy approach, it is hypothesized that the high fluctuations in the economic growth rate associated with JCPOA has led to the political instability through deepening and intensification of expectations gap. To do so and using a comparative method, a number of factors associated with calculating modes of added value (sub-sectors including agriculture, oil, industry and mining, and ) as well as international indicators affecting the economic growth are analyzed in the two time spans of pre and post JCPOA. For further validity, reference is made to the results of some polls conducted by some credible institutes. The findings show that the sudden rise and fall of the economic growth rate due to oil revenues after the agreement turned the hope created in the context of the expected gap formed by the promises of the agreement into disappointment; and paved the way for street unrests

The challenge of environmental pollution and climate change have made countries to develop energy transition progress to move from non-renewable energy sources towards renewable ones. This paper seeks to consider energy transformation process and analyze its pattern in Iran by modeling through the ARDL bounding testing method over the period of 1993-2018. The empirical estimations depicted that in the long-run economic growth and inflation rate negatively impact on energy transformation of Iran, while increase in carbon dioxide emissions and appreciation of Iran’s national currency accelerate the energy transition process in Iran. Regarding the short-run relationship, the major results represented an evidence of positive impact of exchange rate on Iran’s energy transition process, while the other variables have negative coefficient. As a major concluding remark, for the case of Iran, the findings prove that the influential impacts of explanatory variables on energy transformation are stronger in long-run rather than in short-run. Therefore, the presence of efficient long-run energy planning is recommended.

The present study was conducted with the aim of designing a model for evaluating the performance of financial units in petrochemical industry. This exploratory practical study carried out based on the descriptive-analytical method and all data were gathered via two separate processes as interview and literature review. The statistical population included professional and academic experts in the field of human resources (HR) to answer qualitative questions by targeted sampling for experts. According to the experts’ opinion, in order to identify effective factors, the Grounded Theory method and Interpretive Structural Method (ISM) were applied for evaluation of method and structural equations, respectively. After reviewing all the 67 indicators of financial performance that were extracted from theoretical foundations and previous research, 48 indicators have been approved by Delphi Roxab Group and then were selected. Finally, content factor analysis showed that all 48 indicators are significant enough. The novelty of this research compared to the similar ones raised from identifying the factors related to "production and procurement" and so "marketing" of the understudy organization that have not been evaluated in the previous studies.

The present research seeks to assess the relationship between the Individual value system and decision-making styles. The statistical population (190 people) consists of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) Organization managers who were assessed using the Census Method. The Myers and Myers cognitive demographic and value systems questionnaire and Scott and Bruce’s decision-making questionnaire were used with a response rate of 90%.. Data was analyzed with the SPSS and Smart Planning softwares. It was found that the dominant Individual value system is success-oriented, followed respectively by system-oriented, realistic, tribal, community-oriented, and autocentric. Also, the dominant decision-making style in the statistical population is rational, followed by intuitive, dependent, avoidant, and spontaneous decision-making styles respectively. It was also concluded that success-oriented and tribal value systems had the most significant relationship with decision-making styles and the community-oriented value system the least. Only the individual variables of race (ethnicity) and field of study had a significant relationship with the Individual value system. The other personal and organizational variables had no significant relationship with the Individual value system. Creating motivation and a sense of employee participation in the future of the organization is proposed as the most important way of improving the value system of the statistical population so that the tendency to make spontaneous decisions can lean more towards making rational decisions to the same extent. Investigating the relationship between decision-making styles is another effective topic in improving these in an organization and is thus recommended to other researchers in the field.

South Pars gas field is the largest gas field in the world and is shared between Iran and Qatar. One of the most important projects in this field is the development of Phases 17 and 18. This mega project is one of the most important projects implemented in the South Pars gas field. This paper examines the impact of domestic inflation on the costs of implementing these phases over a period of ten years(2003-2013) .The main purpose of this study is to calculate and compare the costs of implementing this project under non-inflationary conditions. For this purpose, the main and standard activities of this phases is selected and its costs calculated and then neutralize inflation indicators for the desired time period to be compared between inflation and non-inflationary states.Wilcoxon test used to compare two dependent groups.Based on statistical analysis, assuming the absence of other factors, the expenditures of selected activities in phases 17and 18 of South Pars in the inflationary state were significantly higher than the non-inflationary state Keywords:South Pars Gas Field, Domestic Inflation
