Traditionally, Sufis, jurists, philosophers, and theologians, are known as different schools of Islamic thought, each of which has its own approach to Islamic education. However, from the 19th century onwards, another powerful approach emerged: political Islam, which also had a different conception of Islamic education. The present study tries to explain how the political conception of Islamic education was formulated in this approach. To achieve this goal, al-Afghani's ideas have been examined. Al-Afghani was one of the first Islamic theologians who formulated modern political Islam and called for accepting modern values because of their consonance with Islamic values. This article, interprets Al-Afghānī’s political theology as an emancipatory proclamation that aimed at the liberation of Muslims. His emancipatory attitude concentrated on the cultural reform; and the education of the nation was the core of this cultural reform. He believed that a general education system must be established that all people enjoy from childhood; and the core of the curriculum of this education should be based on political education with the theme of the greatness of the nation.

حوزه های تخصصی:
Looking at the studies and analyses conducted in the field of Iran's issues with the world, we see the ignorance of Iran's geopolitical aspect. The concern of the present study is why Iran, despite its geopolitical importance, is always analyzed in terms of ideology and political Islam in the international arena? However, given the current geopolitical components and even its future geopolitical advantages, Iran has a potential and actual position and importance at the regional and international levels. The purpose of this study is, first, to highlight the more deliberate neglect of Iran's geopolitical aspect as an existing problem and to show some of its most important effects, and second, to highlight the geopolitical nature of Iran. The data collection method is descriptive-analytical, and they have been analyzed in the framework of the theory of "Geopolitics: The Impact of Politics on Geography" and the analytical framework of "Hermeneutics of Reflection". Based on the analysis of the effects of Iran's geopolitical neglect and with a look at the historical course (contemporary history), the research findings are a set of "historical" and "geopolitical" symbols and signs revealing the importance and determination of Iran's geopolitics, its precedence on political, ideological, cultural aspects, and the error of degradation in terms of geoculture. The result of this study is to ignore Iran's geopolitical aspect, reduce Iran's effective acting power in the international arena by introducing it more as an ideological actor, and put all the pressure on the Islamic Revolution, political Islam and the Islamic State.
The Uprising of 1920, the Ruḥaniyyat (Clergy) and Arab Nationalism in the Entry of Iraq into the New Era(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزه های تخصصی:
The uprising of 1920 in Iraq is the most important historical, political and social event of current Iraq in entering the new era. Some of the analyzes under the concept of secularism have introduced this uprising as a national and secular uprising. Another part of the analysis has presented a religious and Islamic analysis of this uprising using the concept of political Islam. In this article, an attempt has been made to show the ineffectiveness of these discourses in analyzing and understanding events such as the 1920 Iraqi uprising by contextualizing the concepts of nationalism, secularism, political Islam and related concepts. From this point of view, the image presented in the form of these analyzes of the 1920 Iraqi uprising is therefore neither secular nor under the concept of political Islam that can be understood, interpreted and analyzed. Even as some are trying to include it under the incompatible concept of Islamic nationalism, they have also suffered a kind of confusion in understanding it. This uprising shows the ineffectiveness of these concepts in understanding the socio-political phenomena of the Islamic world. In this regard, an attempt has been made to show the importance of the 1920 Iraqi uprising in the foundation and deconstruction of the dominant concepts and paradigms in the political field. Also, the power and potential of this uprising in creating new models of politics and governance in the geographical border between concepts and dualities such as secularism and theocracy will be highlighted

The present research sought to answer the following question: “How religion plays a role in the politics?” Answering the research question, the hypothesis is that the Islamic law, based on the human needs and the epistemological source of revelation, with a maximally reading and interpretation of Islam and in the refuge of the divine theory of the state, has developed a new concept called the “Political Islam”, which is considered the evolved form of the divine theory of government.
