Internationalization of businesses is considered as a key factor in economic development and growth of the economic entities. On the other hand, the ability of the system for endurance and reliability is inevitably dependent on the success that the system gains in communicating with the external environment; in other words, the sustainability of the system is entirely dependent on system capability for adaptation, change and responsiveness to the environment. Furthermore, Technology-based businesses are highly dynamic and use different internationalization patterns. A literature review shows that comprehensive studies have not been conducted despite the necessity of today's businesses to move toward sustainable internationalization. Therefore, this research examines existing patterns by presenting a model for sustainable internationalization in technology-based businesses. In the present study, 6 technology-based businesses in oil and gas industry have been investigated using a multi-case interview method. The validity and reliability of data collection tools have been confirmed. The results of the interviews performed during the two coding stages revealed that economic, environmental, social and technological factors are among the factors influencing the adoption of sustainable business internationalization strategies along with a focus on a sustainable business model. This study also presents different types of sustainable internationalization strategies and classifies the internationalization’s sustainability index into two categories of profitability and sustainability of relationships in the network.

Identify factors affecting the internationalization dimension in entrepreneurial university and its role in creating a knowledge-based economy(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose: This research has been designed to identify the effective components of the internationalization of the entrepreneurial university that contribute to the creation of knowledge-based economics. Methodology: The research method was a blended method and the statistical population included experts and experts in the field of growth centers in Islamic Azad universities in Fars province. In the qualitative section of 11 people in the interview process and in the quantitative section with a population of 976 people, 277 people participated as an example in this study. The data gathering tool was an interview and a researcher-made questionnaire. After validation, its reliability was 0.83. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data and exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was used in the inferential part. Findings: The results of the research of findings showed that the continuous validation components of the university in order to achieve international standards, conduct innovations and international initiatives on campus, the relationship of faculty members with foreign graduates with the highest factor load (0.88) And the component of the application of the system of international education in the university with the least factor load (0.63) of the total variance explained, and other components were important in the following order respectively. Discussion: The coefficient of the effect of components in the internationalization of the entrepreneurial university in creating a knowledge-based economy alone is the highest coefficient of influence on the continuous validation component of the university in order to achieve international standards, carry out innovations and international initiatives on campus, the relationship of faculty members with Foreign graduates with 0.88 and the least in the component of using the distance education system at university.

An Analysis of the Internationalization of Iran's Higher Education Curriculum; Requirements & Obstacles(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose: The purpose of the present study was Analysis of the Internationalization of Iran's Higher Education Curriculum; requirements & obstacles. Methodology: This research was applied in terms of the purpose and, in terms of the type of data collected, is quantitative. Also a descriptive survey type was used based on the data collection method. The statistical population of this research includes all faculty members of comprehensive universities of Tehran which was 4429 people. The sample was 384 people based on Cochran formula and selected by simple random sampling method. The main tool used for measuring and collecting data.in this research is a researcher-made questionnaire. To create the questionnaire, the components were extracted from the literature review and theoretical foundations and the researches carried out in the field. Then, after the modification, they were classified and arranged in a form. Finally, in the first section, in order to identify the current status of the university in terms of internationalization of the curriculum of higher education with 29 items and in the second section, to identify the obstacles to the internationalization of higher education curriculum with 8 grades on a 5-point Likert scale Low, very low, moderate, high, very high), was developed and answered to the professor. In this research, we used SPSS software and Cronbach's alpha test to obtain the reliability of the questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha for the questionnaire, "Identifying the barriers to internationalization of higher education curriculum" was equal to 0/74 and for the questionnaire "Reviewing the current status of curriculum internationalization" was calculated to be 0/76.Due to the fact that reliability is generally more than 0 70, the researcher-made questionnaire has a relatively high reliability. Findings: The Result showed that the “Lack of motivational and incentive factors for professors” with 6/909 T test and with 0/000 Significant was the most important obstacles that this research was Identified and the “Lack of financial support from professors in traveling abroad in line with international research” with 6/718 T test and with 0/000 Significant was second obstacles are Identified. Conclusion: The present status of internationalization of curriculum at the comprehensive universities of Tehran has been studied. Then the barriers were identified and finally solutions were presented. In the following, a comparison between the comprehensive universities of Tehran in relation to the internationalization of the curriculum was carried out and, finally, a comparison was made between the different faculties.

Investigating the Impact of International Entrepreneurial Orientation on the International Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises

Today, all organizations must shift their business orientation to be able to understand and meet customers' needs faster than their rivals and pioneering them, in a highly competitive environment. In this area, the entrepreneurial orientation, internationalization and competitive strategies by understanding customer demands and focusing on business benefits, can Guarantee the performance improvement and the survival of these organizations. Therefore, the present study seeks to assess the impact of international entrepreneurship orientation on the international performance of small and medium enterprises, considering the mediator role of competitive strategy and international marketing orientation. In this research, descriptive-survey method has been used. A questionnaire consisting of 65 items was used to collect data. The statistical population of this study was all managers and employees of small and medium enterprises in Bushehr Province. Sampling method is simple random sampling method. To analyze the data, structural equation modeling with partial squares approach was used with the help of Smart PLS3 software. The results of this research show that the international entrepreneurship orientation has a positive and significant effect on the international performance of small and medium enterprises. The results also confirm the mediator role of the competitive strategy and the international market orientation in the relationship between the international entrepreneurial orientation and the international performance of small and medium enterprises.

This paper describes an alternative view of the internationalization process in higher education by comparing the traditional and non-traditional indicators on how the level of internationalization is measured; additionally, barriers that exist on both sides are reviewed and discussed. As higher education institutions are very accustomed to and focused on the number of international students, international cooperation agreements, visiting guest professors and international projects, another dimension could be added if we start to account and measure things that are happening in the digital communication, online data exchange, usage of mobile devices and other technologies. Authors argue that it would be necessary to include this perspective in the development of internationalization strategies, institutional development plans as well as external outreach tactics. The paper is based upon empirical knowledge coming from Erasmus+ KA2 project and a brief institutional self-assessment performed by Riga Technical University International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department.

Modeling the challenges affecting the internationalization of the Persian Gulf Pro League(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Background : Internationalization of sports leagues can have several benefits, including increased exposure to a global audience; improved competitiveness; and enhanced financial opportunities and cultural exchange. Overall, the internationalization of a sports league can help it grow, become more competitive, and reach a wider audience, leading to benefits for both the league and its fans. Aim: The main objective of this research was to develop a model of challenges affecting the internationalization of the Persian Gulf Pro League (PGPL). Materials and Methods: We conducted twenty in-depth interviews with expertise involved in the functioning of the PGPL who were recruited using a convenience sampling method. The data was analyzed using grounded theory method, including open, axial, and selective coding. During the analysis, we identified 85 codes that generated 49 general concepts. Subsequently, through further reviewing the concepts and their combination with each other, we identified twenty tow final categories that affect the internationalization of PGPL. These categories were classified into five main dimensions: political-economic; managerial; legal; technical-marketing and socio-cultural. Results : According to the research findings, it is necessary for the Iranian football managers and practitioners to first address the challenges affecting the internationalization of the PGPL and then provide the required conditions and platforms with attitude-behavioral alignment to move toward internationalization. Conclusion: The study suggests that Iranian football managers and practitioners need to address challenges hindering the internationalization of the PGPL and provide the necessary conditions and platforms to facilitate the process. By doing so, the PGPL can expand its presence and competitiveness in the global football industry, leading to growth and success.
