چکیده
اجرای فعالیت های زیست شناسی عملی در کلاس های درس زیست شناسی و علوم به دلیل نیاز به تجهیزات تخصصی و تخصص برای رشد سلول های زنده بسیار چالش برانگیز است. کیت های مصنوعی زیست شناسی با تکیه بر علوم زیستی، مهندسی و طراحی فرصت هایی را برای آموزش تجربی زیست شناسی فراهم می کنند. BioBits™ نوعی کیت آموزش زیست شناسی مصنوعی بدون سلول، پایدار در قفسه و خشک شده در انجماد است که تنها با اضافه کردن آب به آن، خروجی های بصری مطلوبی را در اختیار کاربران قرار می دهد. واکنش های کیت BioBits™، حواس بینایی، بویایی و لامسه را با خروجی هایی درگیر می کنند که به ترتیب، فلورسانس، عطر و هیدروژل تولید می کنند. این مقاله مروری، مقالات مرتبط با موضوع پژوهش از وب سایت های Science Direct، Google Scholar و PubMed استخراج شدند. سعی ما این است که فعالیت ها و برنامه های حمایت کننده از آموزش زیست شناسی را گزارش می کنیم که می توانند به کمک کیت BioBits™ واکنش های آنزیمی و تشکیل مواد زیستی و حسگرهای زیستی را تداعی کنند. کیت BioBits™، نمایش عملی علوم پیشرفته را امکان پذیر می سازد که استفاده از آن ها ارزان، آسان و تقریبا در دسترس است؛ و بسیاری از موانع فعلی برای اجرای آزمایش های زیست شناسی اکتشافی در کلاس های درس را برطرف می کنند.Teaching biology with the BioBits™ kit
Implementing practical biology activities in biology and science classrooms is very challenging due to the need for specialized equipment and expertise in growing living cells. Synthetic biology kits, drawing on biological sciences, engineering, and design, provide opportunities for experiential biology education. BioBits™ is a type of artificial biology education kit, free of cells, stable on shelves, and freeze-dried, which, when water is added, provides desirable visual outputs to users. BioBits™ reactions engage visual, olfactory, and tactile senses, producing fluorescence, fragrance, and hydrogel. This review article extracted relevant research articles from Science Direct, Google Scholar, and PubMed websites. We aim to report supporting activities and curriculum plans in biology education that can utilize the BioBits™ kit to teach enzymatic reactions, biological material formation, and biological sensors. The BioBits™ kit enables a practical representation of advanced sciences that is affordable, easy, and almost accessible; and eliminates many current obstacles to conducting exploratory biology experiments in classroom settings.
