پرسش ها و چالش های پیش روی ایران شناسی

چکیده
سخن گزافی نیست اگر گفته شود، تمام علومی که اکنون به عنوان شاخه ای از علم، در مفهوم Science جایگاه دانشگاهی و نهادینه شده ای دارند، برای اثبات علم بودنشان به تناسب پیدایش و سیر تاریخی خود بارها مورد نقد و بررسی قرار گرفته اند. در این راه پرفراز و نشیب، علوم انسانی مسیر ناهموارتری را طی نموده و بیشتر مورد انتقاد و واکاوی قرارگرفته تا به جایگاه کنونی خود رسیده اند. با وجود این درباره رشته، حوزه یا گرایش ایران شناسی، بعنوان شاخه ای از علوم انسانی، این نقد و بررسی ها انجام نشده و این رشته از علوم انسانی برای یافتن جایگاه علمی خود سخت نیازمند این کنکاش هاست. نویسنده در این مقاله با طرح برخی پرسش ها و چالش های موجود درباره ایران شناسی و مسائل آن، تلاش کرده است، گامی اولیه در وادی نهادینه کردن علم ایران شناسی بردارد و امید دارد با یافتن پاسخ مورد قبول، در آینده ای نزدیک بتوان جایگاه علمی ویژه ای را برای آن تعریف کرد.Questions and Challenges before Iranology
It is not unjustified to claim that all the disciplines which have attained an academic status have been criticized and explored several times in relation to their historical background until they have been granted their scientific identity. In the course of this uneven process, human sciences have been exposed to more criticism and investigation in this regard than any other science. However, not enough studies have been carried out regarding the discipline, field, or sub-field of Iranology as a branch of human sciences, which is why it is in great need of such explorations and analyses in order to attain its true scientific status. Through posing certain questions and revealing some of the existing challenges regarding Iranology and the related issues, the author of this paper has tried to take a first step in the realm of consolidating the science of Iranology. Moreover, she hopes that, by finding some convenient solutions to the propounded problems, other researchers can define a specific scientific definition and place for Iranology.
