چکیده
ایران و گنجینه هنر ایرانی نقش به سزایی در الهام بخشی، و آفرینش شاهکارهای متعدد در ادبیات جهان داشته است. جیمز موریه و گوبینو از نویسندگانی هستند ، که تحت تأثیر این میراث غنی به خلق آثار منحصربه فرد خود دست یازیده اند. هردو با بهرهگیری از شرایط حاکم بر جامعه ایران، مهارت شگرفی در بازتولید انگارههای شرقشناسانه و ایران شناسانه در قالب داستان داشتهاند. آثار داستانی شهیر آنان گواه این امرند. در این نوشتار برآنیم تا جایگاه ایران را « داستانهای آسیایی » و «سرگذشت حاجی بابای اصفهانی» از خلال این آثار بررسی کنیم، و در پی آن به نوع نگاه این دو نویسنده به جامعه ایران آن زمان پی ببریم.Maurie and Gobineau's View of Iranian Art and Literature
Iran and Iranian art treasures have got a great part in inspiring and creating numerous masterpieces of world literature. James Maurie and Gobineau are among writers who created their unique works under the influence of this rich heritage.Both benefiting from the conditions prevailing in Iranian society, have got tremendous skill in reproducing the Iranian notion and that of orientalism in the form of stories. Their famous fictions "Adventures of Haji Baba Isfahani" and "Asian stories" are the evidence. In this paper, we aim to study the place of Iran through these works, and after that, to explore the view of these two authors on the Iranian society at that time.
