چکیده
والت ویتمن و احمد شاملو هر دو از شاعران مدرن و نوگرا هستند که مشترکاتی در شعر آنان از نظر فرم و محتوا دیده می شود. مضامین مشترک شعری همچون طبیعت گرایی، انسان گرایی، اهمیت دادن به مسائل سیاسی- اجتماعی و توجه به جسم در کنار روح و جان در آثار هر دو مشهود است. از نظر سبک شعری نیز هر دو به رهایی از قید و بند قافیه و به کارگیری کلام آهنگین و گشایش راه جدیدی در شعر معتقدند. شاملو همچون ویتمن، زبان محاوره و غیر فاخر ادبی را وارد شعر کرد اما، به زبان فاخر ادبی و حماسی نیز توجه ویژه ای داشت و لحن حماسی و اسطوره ای شعرش از متون کتاب مقدس متأثر است. برخی از تقابل ها نیز در کار آن دو قابل مشاهده است. برای مثال شاملو اغلب به ستایش قهرمانان می پردازد؛ این قهرمان از دید او گاه یک مبارز و گاه معشوق وی است اما، والت ویتمن نه تنها به انسان، بلکه به نبات و حیوان و جماد نیز به دیده تقدیس می نگرد. بیان مسائل عرفانی در شعر ویتمن بیش از شاملو مشهود است.Walt Whitman and Ahmad Shamloo
Both Walt Whitman and Ahmad Shamloo are modernist poets who have commonalities in form and content in their poems. Common poetic contents such as being naturalism, humanism, paying attention to social and political issues and human body along with the soul and spirit are seen in their works. Regarding poetic styles, both of them believe in freedom from the rhyme restriction and they use rhythmic speech and make a new way in poetry. Like Whitman Shamloo brought in colloquial and conversational language to the poetry. But Shamloo paid special attention to the rich, poetical and epic language and his epic and mythical tone is affected by the texts of holy book. There are also some confrontations in their works. Most of the time Shamloo praises the heroes.This hero is sometimes a warrior and sometimes his beloved. But Walt Whitman praises not only human but also plants, animals and inanimate. Sufism in Whitman's poems is seen more than Shamloo's
