Enterprise Social Media Usage and Team Performance with The Moderation of Workplace Integration: An Empirical Study of Telecommunication Sector in Pakistan(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Enterprise Social Media (ESM) has been normally embraced by companies to boost team performance and agility for workers. The goal of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of workplace isolation on the relationships among usage ESM, employee agility and Team Performance along with exploration of the moderating influence of workplace Integrational study model. This research adds to corporate awareness in illustrating the impact of ESM use on team performance and employee agility based on theory of social exchange, theory of information processing and the theory of transactive memory. Cross-sectional survey was employed to collect data from telecommunication firms (public & private). 400 respondents were selected through purposive sampling technique and given close ended questionnaires, 348 questionnaires were selected for further analysis; through a number of statistical tools, after screening out the filled responses. It resulted in Suggesting ESM has a favorable effect on Employee Agility and Team Performance, but the negative relationships were observed among workplace isolation and employee agility and team performance. Further, Workplace Isolation mediated the relationship among ESM, Employee Agility and Team performance. Additionally, Workplace Integration strongly moderated the relationship between ESM and Workplace Isolation.  Experts and/or administrators should pay consideration to the impact of using ESM on agility and team performance of the workers. In addition, when implementing ESM to increase team performance they should concentrate on the extent of team diversity. By presenting the relationship between use of ESM, isolation in the workplace, workplace integration, agility of workers and performance of teams; it enriches the ESM use works by exploring the moderating functions of workplace integration while describing the beneficial consequences of workplace integration.

هدف این مطالعه بررسی نقش رهبری خدمتگزار و رهبری تیمی در عملکرد تیمی با انسجام تیمی و تیمی در تیم معلمان بود. جامعه پژوهش کلیه معلمان مقطع متوسطه استان کردستان بودند که به روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای نسبی و بر اساس فرمول کوکران، نمونه ای از متشکل از 346 معلم شدند. روش تحقیق، مدلسازی معادلات ساختاری. برای جمع آوری داده ها از پرسشنامه لیدن و همکاران (2015) خدمتگزار رهبری. رهبری یک تیم تحقیقاتی بر اساس مدل Morgeson، DeRue & Karam (2010); Podsakoff & MacKenzie Team Cohesion (1994); توضیحات تیمی Bresó، Gracia، Latorre & Peiró (2008) و عملکرد تیمی Puente-Palacios، Martins & Palumbo (2016) استفاده شد. پایایی نامه ها با استفاده از تکنیک آلفای کرونباخ و پرسشنامه معتبر با استفاده از تحلیل عاملی اکتشافی و ارزیابی رتبه اول و دوم ارزیابی قرار گرفت. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از تحلیل ماتریس همبستگی و مدل سازی معادلات ساختاری با نرم افزارهای SPSS.v25 و LISREL.v10 استفاده شد. نشان داد: 1) رهبری خدمتگزار تاثیر مستقیم، مثبت و معناداری بر عملکرد تیم، نتایج تیمی و انسجام تیمی و از طریق انسجام تیمی و تیم عملکرد بر عملکرد تیمی در تیم های معلم غیرمستقیم مثبت و معنادار داشت. 2) رهبری تیم تاثیر مستقیم، مثبت و معناداری بر عملکرد تیم داشت.

Learning Teamwork via Computer Games: A Phenomenological Approach(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Background & Purpose: By the advent of video games as an inseparable part of technology and education, the impact of such games on enhancing the level of teamwork has reached an unprecedented attention. The uppermost objective of this study was to investigate the miscellany of aspects influential on the improvement of teamwork among Iranian Air Force freshmen cadets.Methodology: To this end, 50 freshmen cadets participated in this research by playing Counter Terrorist Game in groups of five (10 groups). They were randomly assigned to each of the groups, however, they all were chosen from among volunteers to play the game with no specific randomization (convenience sampling). Each group played four rounds of the game in two consecutive days (each day two rounds) competitively against the computer. After the second day, participants were in depth interviewed about their lived experiences of playing video games with their coursemates utilizing semi-structured questions concerning various aspects of teamwork.Findings: The researchers also observed the participants playing games and employed field notes in order to record the phenomenon under study. The data collected were meticulously transcribed and analyzed and data-driven themes were obtained using NVivo qualitative data analysis software version 12. Conclusion: By conducting this study, it was revealed that there are ten main themes or categories in the context of game playing that can potentially lead towards learning teamwork features. The themes are goal-setting, identity-formation, premeditation, interaction, implementation, leadership, esprit de corps, companionship, trait and tact.

Investigation of Organizational Coach-Oriented Role in Mental Health and Team Performance of Employees in General Directorate of Youth and Sport of Ardabil Province(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of coach-oriented organization and team performance in the mental health staff General Directorate of Youth and Sport of Ardabil. Descriptive and correlational methodology has been applied to the target and the field was done in this study population all staff General Directorate of Youth and Sport was Ardabil province in the number of them 85 persons. Limited due to the small population size of the population sampled and analyzed, so is the population size and sample size. To collect data from questionnaires in coach-oriented organization and team performance staff (researchers) and mental health (Goldenberg and Hiller, 1979) was used. To analyze the data descriptive statistics (frequency tables mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation and multiple regressions) is used in which the coach-oriented organizational relationship with the staff in mental health and team performance The SPSS19software were analyzed. The results showed that between team performance and organizational staff coach-oriented relationship (r = 0.314), there was a significant (p <0.05). Inter coach-oriented physical and mental health relationship (r = 0.352), there was a significant (p <0.05). Inter coach-oriented and anxiety, social dysfunction and depression there is a significant negative correlation (p <0.05). The mental health of a coefficient of 88% could predict the coach-oriented organization.
