Prioritizing and Assessment of the Relationships between Factors Affecting Underdevelopment of Electronic Banking in Iran (a Study with Fuzzy DEMATEL Approach)(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Banks, in order to extend the development of information technology and electronic banking services and its using by customers, in first place, should examine barriers and problems in using information technology. Therefore, in this study we deal with identifying and prioritizing these barriers in Iranian banks. Our method in this research is descriptive-survey. In this way, after the library study and the extraction of factors and problems facing the information technology, common indexes is extracted by Delphi approach, which is classified in 8 categories and led to 17 indexes. Then, by helping the fuzzy DEMATEL approach we prioritize these indexes. By using MATLAB software the affecting and the affected factors was analyzed. The results show that the affecting factors on development of electronic banking include society culture of acceptance, lack of public awareness, the field of communications, strong culture of organization, managers’ acquaintance with technology, strong regulations to deal with cyber criminals, recruitment of skilled human resources and coordination in the adoption of field of policies in the of technology. Also the affected factors of development of electronic banking include existence of centers of various decision making in technology, development and being adequate networks, individuals’ continuous training, managers planning about promotion and maintenance of systems, existence of modern hardware and software, system monitoring and safety, required standards in information resources, lack of deficiency in accuracy and being up to date the information and information resources. They all are affecting from other factors in electronic banking development. JEL Classification: C44, G210

Challenges in Creating Business Value from Health Information Systems (HIS): A Hybrid Fuzzy Approach(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

For the last three decades, research on Information Technology Business Value (ITBV) has highlighted how organizations can create greater value from IT investments in different industries, including the healthcare sector. There has been some research investigating the business value of Health Information Systems (HIS). However, the current body of knowledge regarding the challenges in front of proper business value realization of these systems is limited. This study investigates the challenges of HIS business value creation using a combination of the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and fuzzy Decision-making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL). First, this study reviews the literature to identify the main challenges in the field. The outcome of this step revealed three main categories and 22 challenges, including technological (ten challenges), organizational (eight challenges), and environmental (four challenges). Then, this study first uses FAHP to evaluate the weighting for each criterion and then adopts the fuzzy DEMATEL method to establish contextual relationships among those criteria. We find out that technological challenges are the most crucial dimension. Moreover, we observed that “infrastructure costs” has the highest priority. Under the technological dimension, “maintenance costs” and “systems compatibility” challenges are the most critical since they are in the cause area and directly influence the HIS outcomes. Under the organizational dimension, “Change in strategic objectives” is the most important challenge. Moreover, “inter-departmental coordination”, “training costs”, “proficiency”, and “users’ knowledge” are affected by each other as well as influenced by the net causes. The outcome of this study shows that to handle HIS business value creation challenges, healthcare executives should start with infrastructure costs, maintenance costs, and systems compatibility challenges.

Drivers Affecting Bitcoin Adoption as a Payment Mechanism in the Tourism Industry(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

While travelers' desire to visit the world's most remote places has grown, the inefficiency of global payments indicates a significant barrier to tourism growth. As an emerging, decentralized, and borderless digital innovation, Bitcoin technology seems to have the ability to serve as a payment alternative and address such fundamental inefficiencies. On the other hand, bitcoin adoption can only happen when tourists and business owners choose to operate bitcoin simultaneously. The study has developed a novel Bitcoin Collaborative Network and Tourism Collaborative Network model to examine Bitcoin adoption factors. Then a fuzzy DEMATEL method was applied to the factors influencing the adoption domain, as identified based on an extensive literature review, in-depth interviews, and an international Delphi process. The study offered a model for the heterogeneous collaborative network of Bitcoin and Tourism (BCN and TCN), revealing that Perceived Usefulness is the most influencing criterion and the most prominent variable in Bitcoin Adoption. Bitcoin Technological Complexity, Government Regulatory, and Bitcoin Awareness are the factors that give the highest impacts. Also, Bitcoin's Technological Complexity is the most significant factor in bitcoin adoption. The findings might assist businesses in adopting a new market expansion strategy and benefiting from technological spillover, while government officials can explore new supporting legislation.

Investigating the Relationships Between the Effective Factors in Creating Food Tourism Brands in Shiraz(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The current research mainly aims to investigate the effective factors in creating a food tourism brand in Shiraz. The statistical population includes all experts in the field of tourism and hotel management, food, cooking, and restaurant industry, and tourists, who were selected using the purposeful sampling method. First, 13 factors were identified according to research literature. The identified factors were given to 10 selected experts who were aware of the desired criteria. Then, the relationships between these factors were determined using the fuzzy Dematel method, and the answer to the second question was also determined. The results showed that the factor of investment in the field of food tourism, and using new advertising tools in this field are the most important thing in creating a food tourism brand in Shiraz. The parameters of food quality and food authenticity are the most effective in this area. In addition, creating a good feeling towards the brand and advertising, in this field are among the most effective parameters, respectively. Food tourism branding issue is the most important issues that should be considered in Shiraz. In this regard, it is possible to identify the foods of Shiraz as intangible cultural heritage, bring them to the national register, prepare their files for global registration in UNESCO, and conduct cultural and political consultations so that the files should be presented at the international level.
