چکیده
یحی بن معاذ رازی (متوفی 258 ق.) از نخستین عارفان ایرانی و نظریه پردازان حوزه عرفان اسلامی و ایرانی است که او را «یگانه روزگار» خوانده اند. در عرفان ایرانی که اصالت به شادی شادمانی داده می شود و ابوسعید ابوالخیر از پیشتازان آن به شمار می آید مبنای فکری خود را از بزرگانی چون یحیی بن معاذ رازی اخذ کرده اند که نظریه عرفانی خود را بر پایه «امید» استوار ساخته بود و با اصالت نور و روشنایی ایران باستان هماهنگی بیشتری داشت. این عارف با تکیه بر بخشایش خداوند که بر غضب او پیشی دارد و بر اساس این که عبادات انسان در برابر رحمت های الهی بسیار ناچیز است و بر پایه اینکه وعده های الهی بر عهده اوست و وعیدهای خدا بستگی به عمل بندگان دارد نتیجه می گیرد که باید به رحمت خدا امیدوار بود و همین امید به دنبال خود شادمانی را در پی دارد و بر همین پایه غنا را بر فقر ترجیح می کند و خداوند را امید اصلی خود و عارفان به شمار می آورد و بخشایش او را در دنیا با چنین وسعتی منجر به بخشایش آخرت ارزیابی می کند.The place of hope in the mysticism of Yahya bin Maaz Razi
