Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a self-awareness education package based on the logo-therapy approach in order to improve the self-control of adolescent girls. Methodology: The method of this study was a combined method. The statistical population of the study was all theologians and professors in the field of the domain of logo-therapy. Sample size was determined by referring to the saturation rule of 15 people who were selected purposefully. In order to achieve the goal of research, the establishment of the general headings of the package, the conversion of general headings to more precise titles, establishment of the purpose for each heading, the compilation of the content necessary to achieve the purposes, qualitative and quantitative review of the package to the opinion of the experts, were done. Findings: The results of the content validity analysis of the package, according to the experts, showed that CVR = 0.73 and CVI = 0.83, both of them were in the optimum level and the content validity of the package was confirmed. Also, Cronbach's Alpha coefficient for determining the internal consistency of experts in the component of self-communication was 0.73, in the component of communication with the others was 0.77 and for the component of communication with the universe was 0.79. Conclusion: According to the findings of the study, it is suggested that psychotherapists use the self-awareness training package (based on the logo-therapy approach) in order to correct attitudes to strengthen self-control in adolescent girls.

The current study used cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in the form of rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) intervention on irrational beliefs and anxiety of adolescent girls with social anxiety. A quasi-experimental design was utilized in this study, which involved a control group, a pre-test, and a post-test of samples taken from clinics in Tehran, of which 28 adolescent girls with social anxiety were selected through a purposive sampling method from November to January 2020. There were 14 participants in each of the experimental and control groups. Afterward, they were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) and The Attitudes and Belief Scale 2 (ABS-2) were applied as pre-intervention phases. The experimental group (n=14) was treated with rational-emotive behavior therapy, for ten weekly 90 minutes sessions, while the control group (n=14) did not receive any treatment. As part of descriptive statistics, we used indices such as means and standard deviations that assessed central and dispersion. The test for inferential statistics was the repeated measure ANCOVA. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software (version 25). The significance level of the analysis was 0.05. Considering the results, there was a significant difference between the pretest and post-test results for irrational belief (89.44±34.82) and anxiety (81.67±27.09)indicating that the experimental group’s post-test scores were higher relative to their pre-test scores. Moreover, the experimental group’s post-test scores of anxiety decreased from the pre-test (81.67±27.09) to the post-test (52.48±15.54).

The participants in the experimental group received 10 training sessions using a wisdom-therapy approach. In order to assess the participants’ internet addiction, the internet Addiction Scale developed by Young (2007) was used. The effect of the provided trainings was assessed using pre-test, post-test and two-month follow-up. In order to analyze the obtained data, a set of ANCOVA was run. Findings: The results revealed that personal wisdom-therapy had a statistically significant positive effect on reducing the level of internet addiction among adolescent female students. Purpose: In the current era, cyberspace has become one of the most concerning issues that can influence the social and psychological world of humans, leading to adverse outcomes for them. A phenomenon that has recently attracted the attention of parents, researchers, and experts is the victimization of adolescent girls in cyberspace. Accordingly, the purpose of the present study was to identify the factors affecting victimization in cyberspace among adolescent girls, based on the lived experiences of their parents. Methodology: The research method was qualitative and conducted through thematic analysis. The statistical population included parents of female students victimized in cyberspace in secondary school during the 2023-2024 academic year in the city of Isfahan, and the sampling method was purposive. To collect the factors affecting victimization in cyberspace among adolescent girls, semi-structured interviews were conducted with parents, and theoretical saturation was achieved after interviewing 16 parents. In this study, the Guba and Lincoln (1985) method was employed for validating the findings. Data analysis (coding and theme identification) conducted with MAXQDA software for thematic analysis. Findings: In this study, 17 basic themes based on mothers' lived experiences and 19 basic themes based on fathers' lived experiences were extracted. From these basic themes, 8 organizing themes were identified: innate characteristics, lack of skills, dependence on the internet, absence of friendly and intimate family relationships, economic pressure, lack of interest in education, and cyber literacy, which were categorized under 3 overarching themes: individual, familial, and environmental. Conclusion: The study's findings highlight the complex interplay between individual, family, and environmental factors influencing teenage girls' vulnerability in cyberspace. Addressing these factors holistically, through supportive family relationships, educational initiatives, and enhanced digital literacy, is crucial for safeguarding adolescents against online risks.
