The predecessors were very careful in dealing with the environment when trying to meet their needs. Without inflicting any harm on the environment, they utilized best out of the least possible in the environment. In the past, the architecture practiced in Iran made use of all that the surrounding environment and climate capacities. In doing so, architecture never weak or wreck the structure and the nature of environment, but its purpose was to consolidate the surrounding environment. Being acquainted with the natural, economic, social, and other capacities of a region enables the tourism planner to come up with a sustainable tourism development for the region based on its current status and potential. This paper was an attempt to study Larestan’s b-Anb rsand examine their potential impact on the development of tourism in Larestan County by drawing a connection between the principles and elements of sustainability with the architecture of these b-Anb rs. Accordingly, the present research, using a comparative research method, aimed at comparing the principles of sustainable and compatible, with the environment, architecture with the structure of b-Anb rs.The results indicated that the climate of Larestan County had an underlying influence through a historical process on the quality and construction of b-Anb rs. Both in the construction and use of b-Anb rs, special attention must have been paid to the principles of sustainable architecture such as energy conservation, climate compatibility, reducing the use of new resources and materials, meeting the needs of the locals, being in harmony with the environment and the site of construction, holism, and the protection of residential areas against the atmospheric agents. Using accessible and native methods, optimal use had been made of the atmospheric agents. In this regard, Larestan  are the real examples of adaptation to the climatic conditions and factors. Far from causing any damage to the environment, the architecture of these water reservoirs is compatible with the environment and is actually devised in a fashion to protect it. Larestan, despite its enormous potential and capabilities as regards tourism, it has not yet found its true place in Iran’s promising tourism industry. With respect to this dormant source of tourism, both the central government and people in the region should pay more attention to restoring and using these water storage facilities.

The main purpose in this research is recognition of dimensions of sustainable architecture. Today, one of the most necessary complicated and delicate specifications of architecture that architects face with is the issue of stability in various types of its comments and interpretations. The issue of sustainability is interpretable and general from many aspects. Therefore, it is necessary to recognize the qualified of this adjective (architecture and its related categories). In the record of bringing this discussion up, we face with titles such as Green architecture<sup>2</sup>, Sustainable development<sup>3</sup>, etc. But the purpose of this article is the study of the nature and recognizing the circumstances and essence of sustainability in all fields that architecture involves in. The innovation of this study is attentive to creating the recognition and feeling the fact of dimensions of sustainability that is studied in procedure of library research, a case sample, and proposal of common but insufficient ideas related to this discussion. This article is devoted to 3 point of views including main environmental, cultural (value), and technical, and it tries to take the proposed topics under the subjection of this 3 factors in an orderly way (presenting a modern pattern) and the minor factors are studied under the subjection of these 3  main factors.

The Sustainable Architecture of Bazaars and its Relation with Social, Cultural and Economic Components (Case Study: The Historic Bazaar of Tabriz)(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Urban commercial quarters such as bazaars can be found all over the world, from Turkey to Egypt, from Tajikistan to Iran. In Iranian cities, bazaars have very specific and unique architectural features and they have played an important role as economic and social engines. In addition, bazaars are an integral part of the cultural geography of Iran and have contributed to the definition of urban development patterns. This paper aims to critically explore sustainable architectural elements in historic bazaars and their relation to social and cultural components. This paper’s theoretical exploration is developed by detailing relevant findings from a case study on the significance of the sustainable architectural elements of the historic Bazaar of Tabriz, and it debates the relationship between those architectural elements and socio-cultural and economic components. A qualitative methodology, specifically in-depth interviews with shop-owners and customers and in loco observation, was employed. Findings show that the Bazaar of Tabriz has preserved its sustainability both in terms of architecture, by rigorous preservation, and in terms of sociocultural and economic components, by maintaining an exciting daily dynamic and a healthy relationship between shopowners, customers, local administration and the city of Tabriz. The preservation of unique and authentic sustainable architectural features, together with the maintenance of public spaces, such as mosques and schools, benefits the population of Tabriz and brings visitors every day to the shopping area of the complex, thus maintaining a constant flux and social, cultural and economic dynamics.

The present study intends to shed light on 25 lifelikeness layers in Imam Jome’eh House (Khaneh Emam Jome’eh) in Isfahan as one of the prominent historical monuments dating back to Qajar dynasty. The present study intends to shed light on 25 lifelikeness layers in Imam Jome’eh House (Khaneh Emam Jome’eh) in Isfahan as one of the prominent historical monuments dating back to Qajar dynasty. The lifelikeness or Zendevari architecture is a general and reconciling pattern (framework) among all the definitions of architecture that in its definition, it consists of 25 layers. these 25 layers include countable layer , spatial layer, geometric layer, Skeletal layer, motor layer, simple mechanical layer, automated mechanical layer, biological layer, environmental layer, climatic layer, sensory layer, visual layer, imaginary layer, unreality layer , media (symbols) layer , analytical( analyzing the elements) layer , historical(importance) layer, creativity (in the building)layer, economic layer, social layer, forensic layer , moral layer , aesthetic layer, political and faith layer and educational layer. Overall, it can be said that in the lifelikeness (Zendevari) development framework, the world and its beings consist of 25 layers, which are in interaction with each other in an unpredictable way, yet a universal and natural relation can be found between layers in two directions. The study method used in the current research is of an analytic-descriptive type, and data collection was performed in a field-, interview- and library-based method, and some strategies were presented to strengthen the zendevari (lifelikeness) of the building under study in a SWOT analysis method. The 21st century Nanotechnology has the potential to make a huge impact on sustainability; but to achieve this potential, Nanotechnology is all about getting more function on less space. In other hand, Nanotechnology is one of the most extremely important components in sustainable development. It has the potential to reduce the environmental impact and energy intensity of structures, as well as improve safety and decrease costs associated with civil infrastructure. In this Paper, first we brief describe about sustainable architecture and nanotechnology, then we shows nanotechnology it can achieving the goals of sustainable architecture. We propose a new strategy of nanotechnology to achieve sustainable development. Finally, we present a new model for nanotechnology to achieve sustainable development.
