The worldwide coronavirus pandemic has led to the emergence of different patterns of behavior in different contexts; one of the most important of these contexts is leisure. The aim of this study was to identify the concepts and categories of leisure during the coronavirus pandemic (emphasis on sports-related studies) and using a qualitative meta-synthesis method. For this purpose, after searching for resources related to the field of leisure (emphasis on sports-related studies) during the coronavirus pandemic, 169 primary sources were found and among them 36 sources were selected and analyzed. The results of a meta-synthesis of leisure studies during the coronavirus pandemic (emphasis on sports-related research) was classified into 7 main categories physical, cognitive (mental), emotional, sociocultural, economic, technology, and environmental conditions and a sports leisure model was presented during the coronavirus pandemic. According to the results of this study, if proper planning and monitoring by sports-related organizations and the media is considered, sports leisure time during the coronavirus pandemic can bring physical, cognitive (mental), emotional and sociocultural benefits for individuals and reduce the negative effects of coronavirus disease in communities. On the other the coronavirus pandemic has revolutionized leisure conditions, and in particular sports leisure, by revolutionizing technology, economics, and conditions environment.
Psycho-Social Challenges of Iranian Paralympic Athletes
حوزه های تخصصی:
According to Van de Vliet (2012), the importance of psychological aspects of sport for athletes with disability are the same as its medical aspects. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the psycho-social challenges of Iranian Paralympic athletes, using a qualitative phenomenological study. In so doing, 60 paralympic athletes (40 male and 20 female) who were selected through purposeful sampling were included in the study. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The collected data were analyzed through thematic analysis. After preliminary processes, Paralympians’ challenges were categorized in two themes: psycho-social challenges (communicational, Family and financial issues) and psychological challenges (sport anxiety, concentration, depression, Sleep problems, ADHD, PTSD), each category covers several codes. paralympic athletes reported that they experienced considerable emotional highs and lows in Professional sports atmosphere. They showed how psychological functioning included protection of self, combining life with elite sport and functional relationships. The importance of conceptualizing paralympians’ challenges is reflected in the identification of different issues and problems. Recognizing and understanding the kinds of challenges that paralympians’ experience may help design the services required to support the athletes through this elite sporting experience.
The comparison Effectiveness of the Third Wave Behavioral Therapies on Behavioral Inhibition/Activation Systems of Anxious Football Player
حوزه های تخصصی:
One of the most important models of motivational approach and avoidance, in recent decades, is the model of behavioral activation system (BAS) and behavioral inhibition system (BIS) presented by Gray. The present study aimed at comparing the group metacognitive therapy (MCT) and group mindfulness acceptance and commitment therapy (MAC) on BAS and BIS of anxious professional football players in the U-19 league in Tehran. Participants in this study were 60 football players in professional football leagues in Tehran. These participants were entered into the assessment stage, and after obtaining informed consent, they were randomly assigned to one of the three experiment groups of MCT, MAC, and WL. The participants completed Jackson’s revised 5-scale of rewarded sensitivity theory in pretest, posttest, and three months follow-up stages. The results of the present study demonstrate that MCT and MAC can make some changes in BAS and BIS among anxious football players. MCT has been more affecting on BIS than both other groups. According to these findings, it would ensure that football players affected by anxiety can take the opportunity to gain advantages from such third-wave interventions.
Evaluation of Sustained Attention Performance and Reaction Time in Elite Marksmen
حوزه های تخصصی:
The aim of this study was to evaluate Sustained Attention Performance and Reaction Time in Shooters of National Rifle, Pistol and Trap Teams and compare these groups with each other. In this causal-comparative study, 33 players of men national teams, including 11 from rifle team, 11 from pistol team and 11 from trap team were selected by available sampling method and evaluated using continuous computer performance test. Covariance method was used to compare the variables of continuous performance test including (number of errors and reaction time) between the three groups. The results showed no significant difference in the performance of sustained attention and Reaction Time between the three groups ( P > 0.05), despite the superiority of the trap group in both components. Based on the findings of the present study, the performance of sustained attention and reaction time in the shooters of the national teams of rifle, pistol and trap is equally important. These findings can be justified by the similar nature of different shooting disciplines in the use of sustained attention and reaction time.
Identifying the Barriers of Electronic Marketing Development in Sport Industry
حوزه های تخصصی:
The purpose of this study was to identify barriers to the development of the electronic-marketing in the sports industry. The present study is a correlational and applied one. The statistical population consisted of 203 individuals including university faculty members, experts, managers of sport federations, members of sport federations board, and experts in e-marketing. The available non-random sampling method is also used in this research. Moreover, data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire that was extracted from two external articles. Besides, ten experts in sport management confirmed the validity of the questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was likewise calculated using Cronbach alphas test. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used to analyze the questionnaire data. The results showed that sports marketing barriers were cultural and social, technical, legal and organizational, high cost, limitation of government support, lack of information, low skills of staff and finally security threats. It is suggested that the policy makers of the country's sports industry consider these barriers before developing strategies for developing e-marketing capabilities.
Investigating the Effective Factors on Web Browsing of Human Resources in Sport Organizations (Case Study: Ministry of Sport and Youth)
حوزه های تخصصی:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effective factors on web browsing (Cyberloafing) of human resources in sport organizations. The research method was descriptive-correlational and based on structural equations and also the data were collected by questionnaire. The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of the Ministry of Sport and Youth, among whom, 237 were randomly selected as sample and finally 225 (93.74%) questionnaires were analyzed. A 14-question questionnaire was used to collect the data. Finally, the collected data were analyzed in two parts: descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS and LISREL software. The results showed that the predictive power of this model based on the sum of variance of the three factors was 61.52%. Also, there is a significant priority among the cyberloafing components, according to which the attitude of employees is in the first priority, descriptive norms in the second priority and perceived barriers in the third priority. Considering the way employees use the internet and web browsing, the need for more in-depth research and attention to these types of HR behaviors become more apparent.
Investigating the Effective Factors on Social Loafing in Sports Leisure Time of University Students
حوزه های تخصصی:
The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting social loafing in sports leisure time of university students in Mashhad (Firdausi Mashhad and Imam Reza). The research method was descriptive-survey in terms of propose and field based in terms of the data collection. The statistical population consisted of male student-athletes of Mashhad universities from which 118 were randomly selected as statistical samples. The research instrument included a researcher-made questionnaire based on research background, the validity of which was assessed by six professors in the field of sports science and its reliability was also assessed by Cronbach's alpha test (0.84). Based on the results, the items of socio-sports loafing for students constitute 50.20% of the total variance and the model for assessing the causes of socio-sports loafing of students, based on the results of factor analysis, has appropriate validity. Moreover, there is a significant correlation between the causes of socio-sports loafing (dodgery, felling of self-inferiority, group characteristics and egocentricity) in students (P <0.01). Furthermore, the results of all factors are higher than the average. Considering the relative importance for each of the studied factors among athlete student, it seems that one of the important reasons for such a fact is the change in lifestyle and the tendency of people to use modern technologies, which reduces the activity of people in society, especially young people, young athletes and young students. Many of these people, due to their strong presence in virtual activities, are less inclined to do group work and are more likely to perform individual actions and achieve their personal goals.
