The Effect of Brand, Design and Price on Perceived Quality and Re-Intent of Customers to Purchase Sports Brand Shoes

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of brand, design and price on the perceived quality and re-intention of consumers to buy sport brand shoes. This is an applied research conducted as a descriptive correlational study in field form. The statistical population of this study included all physical education students across different educational levels in Iran. In this research, 720 questionnaires were collected by random cluster sampling. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with PLS software was used to analyse the data of this research. The results of this study show that design with a coefficient of 0.36, price with 0.27, and brand with 0.26 have a significant effect on quality perceived by customers. The results of this research also show that perceived quality with an effect coefficient of 0.49 has a significant effect on customers’ purchase intention. Generally speaking, it can be concluded that the components of design, price, and brand of sport shoes for Iranian physical education students are very important. Famous brands in the world need to pay particular attention to these components to tap into this lucrative market in Iran and increase their re-purchasing intention by influencing consumers’ perceived quality.

Investigation into the Effective Factors Involved in Personal Brand Equity of University Professors(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose: Nowadays personal branding is considered a very important issue for specialists like the university professors, as one of the important classes of experts in the society, and the success criteria of personal branding activities is their perceived brand equity by the students. The purpose of present study is to investigate the effective factors involved in personal brand equity of university professors. Methodology: This is an applied study in terms of purpose and it is a survey-analytical study in terms of method. The statistical population consists of the students at Azad University Central Tehran Branch in Iran, Faculty of Management and the data were collected from 275 students using probability convenience sampling method. Structural equation modeling and SMART PLC has been used to test the hypotheses. Findings: The results show that competence of professors, the students' awareness of them and the instruction perceived quality by the students affect the professor brand equity through affecting the extent of attachment between the students and professors and the effect on the communicative variables such as commitment, trust and loyalty. Discussion: Today being good in what we are doing as an expert doesn’t pay off enough and we can’t expect others to know our competencies and respect that while we are not communicating those thing properly through personal branding. Findings show that university professors must take a good care of their awareness, competencies and perceived instructional qualities which all let them have higher brand equity through communicative variables and benefit a lot from that.

Interpret Influencing Factors on Revisit Intention to Rural Tourism Destinations in Yazd Province(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose- Aim of this study was to interpret the effect of perceived quality and perceived value on tourists’ loyalty by the mediation of satisfaction and destination image in the three tourism target villages of Yazd province (located in central Iran). Design/methodology/approach- Present study is applied research regarding the objective and the type of research is a descriptive correlation. The population of the study consists of all incoming tourists to three tourism villages of Yazd province (Kharanagh, Saryazd, and Sadeghabad). Participants were 200 visitors to three villages of Yazd province that were selected using the convenience sampling method. They all completed the perceived quality, perceived value, satisfaction, destination image, and loyalty scales in a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the path analysis model (LISREL software). Findings- The study shows that there is a positive and significant relation between tourists’ loyalty and perceived quality, between tourists’ loyalty and perceived value, between tourists’ loyalty and destination image, and between tourists’ loyalty and satisfaction. Moreover, perceived quality and perceived value have a direct, significant effect on tourists' loyalty. Perceived quality by the mediation of destination image has an indirect effect on tourists 'loyalty; perceived quality by the mediation of satisfaction has an indirect and meaningful effect on tourists 'loyalty; perceived value by the mediation of destination image has an indirect effect on tourists' loyalty; perceived value by the mediation of satisfaction has an indirect and meaningful effect on tourists' loyalty.

Assessing the Brand Equity of Majid Brand in Comparison with Nike from the Perspective of Iranian Consumers(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The importance of brand equity is due to its strategic role in gaining a competitive advantage in the market. The purpose of this study was to assess the brand equity of Majid in comparison with Nike from the perspective of Iranian consumers. The research method was survey in terms of data collection and descriptive-correlation in terms of research method. The statistical population of this study was sport good consumers in the range of 18 to 45 years old. 384 sport good consumers completed an online questionnaire through random sampling. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated based on Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Results of the Pearson correlation test revealed that there is a significant relationship between brand equity and its components in both brands. The results of the paired t-test, revealed that the Nike brand has higher brand equity than Majid brand according to the perspectives of Iranian consumers. Also, for the Iranian consumers, the quality of the brand is the most important element of brand equity.
