Aerobic power indicates the maximum amount of Oxygen intake that a person uses during strenuous physical activities under the sea. Accordingly, the significance of aerobic power in divers who spend much time under the water must be addressed. In order to investigate the matter, this study examines the correlation of aerobic power with increasing diving depth of divers and its relationship with their chest pain. The statistical population includes 70 students from a diving class of a Diving School in Bandar Anzali. The group consists of 20 male subjects randomly selected according to Morgan's table, aged 18 to 25, with no history of health issues, smoking, and professional sports activities. The results indicated a significant relationship between aerobic power and diving depth until the onset of chest pain; a significant inverse relationship between aerobic capacity and the intensity of chest pain; and a significant relationship was observed between aerobic capacity and duration of chest pain. These results are in favor of the effect of aerobic capacity in prevention of chest pain in divers.
The validity and reliability of the Persian version of passions athlete adults
حوزههای تخصصی:
The passion scale mainly focuses on the passion for achievement or becoming good in some area/theme/skill. This study aimed to translate the passion scale and assess reliability and content and construct validity for the passion scale in athletic adults in Tehran city. A cross-cultural translation was used to generate a Persian-English version of the passion scale. A total of 200 athletes adults with age 26/79 ± 5/01 completed Persian version of passion scale (PS), enabling us to investigate its feasibility, content validity, internal consistency, construct validity and test-retest reliability. 30 athletes adults stated that all the questionnaire items were simple, clear, and related to the objectives. The overall pattern of results suggests that the scale for passion presented here is applicable for the age studied. The calculated CVI and CVR were 0.94 and 0.91, respectively. All individual item scores correlated positively with the total score, with correlations ranging from 0.67 to 0.81. The Cronbach's alpha value for the standardized items was 0.88. Pearson correlations coefficient between total score passion scale and Grit-S scale were 0.53 for athletic adults. Intra class correlation coefficients (ICCs) between test and retest scores for the total score was 0.92. The results of this study showed that this Persian version of passion scale in athletes adults has a good validity and reliability and can be used in investigating passion of athletes adults.
Effects Of Brand Orientation on Customer Orientation and Employee Behavior (Case of Study: Sports Clothing Stores)
حوزههای تخصصی:
Today's organizations are not superior in terms of technology and product differentiation due to rapid changes and intense competition. Meanwhile, the main factor of their success is their human resources. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effects of brand orientation on customer orientation and employee behavior. The statistical population of this research is all employees of sportswear stores in Mazandaran province. According to Morgan's table, the sample size was equal to 67 people. The sampling method of the present study was a simple random sampling. Then, data has been collected using a questionnaire tool. Using convergent validity, the validity of the research was confirmed. Its reliability was confirmed through Cronbach's alpha test. In this research, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to determine the normality of the data distribution. The path analysis method was used to test the hypotheses. Data analysis has been done using Excel software and SPSS and PLS software. The results of this research showed that brand orientation has a significant effect on employees' customer orientation and brand-oriented behavior of employees. Employee customer orientation has a significant effect on employee customer orientation behavior. Finally, the customer-oriented behavior of employees has a significant effect on the brand-oriented behavior of employees. It is suggested to the managers and officials of the country that by raising the needs and problems of the customers from the employees in their organization and answering the customers' questions correctly and trying to influence the customers by providing them with the desired information in order to help the customers to achieve their goals. have the necessary
The relationship between metacognitive beliefs and anxiety sensitivity with conscientiousness of Life guards
حوزههای تخصصی:
The present research examines the relationship between metacognitive beliefs and anxiety sensitivity with conscientiousness of lifeguards. This is a descriptive-correlational research and has been carried out by the field method. The statistical population of the research included all female lifeguards in the east of the country and at different work levels (310 people). Next, according to the type of statistical population, the sample size was calculated using Morgan's table to the number of 150 people, and they completed the questionnaires of metacognitive beliefs, anxiety sensitivity and conscientiousness. Data were analyzed through Pearson correlation and multiple regression statistical tests simultaneously. The results showed that there is a significant correlation between metacognitive beliefs and anxiety sensitivity with conscientiousness (p≤0.05). Positive metacognitive beliefs have a positive and significant relationship with conscientiousness, while the relationship between negative metacognitive beliefs and anxiety sensitivity with conscientiousness is negative and significant. Since lifeguards should be at the peak of responsibility, knowing the issues that can negatively affect their conscientiousness can be a solution or suggestion to improve their performance. Therefore, according to the results of the research, it is suggested to discuss the psychological preparation of lifeguards, especially in the cognitive aspect. There should be more emphasis
The Effects of 8 Weeks of Gyro Training on Some Parameters Determining the Balance of Air Force Pilots
حوزههای تخصصی:
The present study investigated the effect of eight weeks of training with a gyroscope on identifying the body position in space, the semi-dynamic balance on the ground, and Huber's device score. Two groups of 30 Air Force (IRIAF) pilots with an average age of 27 years, height of 178, and weight of 80 kg were randomly assigned to two training and control groups. The training group was exposed to eight weeks of training with the gyroscope device. The pre-test and post-test of the two groups were compared using videography, star test, and Huber's score using the statistical method of repeated measurement. In the gyro test, there was no significant difference in the detection angle of the body position in the air in any groups before and after the test. However, an increase in rotation speed was observed in the training group. In Huber's test, there was no significant change in the control group before and after. However, in the training group, an improvement in the score was observed, especially in the non-superior limb, as well as a decrease in the difference in the score between the two hands. Stars were not observed in any groups before or after the test. According to the results, it can be concluded that despite the non-significance of the difference in the subjects' ejection angle and position identification in the training group, it occurred simultaneously as the rotation speed increased
Elucidating the Structure and Critiquing the Effects of Social Loafing in Volleyball Teams
حوزههای تخصصی:
This review article elucidates the structure and critiques the effects of social loafing in the team sport of volleyball. Drawing upon existing theories, opinions, and research, this review addresses the conceptual framework and factors influencing individual and group behaviors in sports environments, particularly volleyball. These factors include team cohesion, leadership styles, communication, interdependent tasks, and individual motivation. An examination of the research methodologies and article formulations, as well as meta-analyses in academic databases like PubMed, Google Scholar, and PsycINFO, indicates that the predominant approach in studies on this phenomenon is deductive, with survey strategies employed through observational studies and interviews with players and coaches using questionnaires. The findings of this review, on one hand, present and analyze theories and models explaining social loafing behaviors in sports environments and teams, including the processes and dimensions of the emergence (and growth) of social loafing and its impact on individual aspects and team performance in volleyball. On the other hand, it highlights key points and related solutions for future research directions in volleyball, including strategies and interventions (by coaches and team leadership) aimed at reducing social loafing, enhancing cohesion, and improving group dynamics in volleyball teams, ultimately leading to improved team performance.
