Creativity is an essential element of cognition and thinking. Thinking is defined as the process of reorganizing or modifying the stored information and symbols in long-term memory. In this context, creativity is closely linked to analytical ability and the mind's capacity for visualization. The present study aims to predict creative thinking and emotional creativity based on executive brain functions among second-grade high school students in Jafarabad city. The study employs a correlational methodology with descriptive characteristics and applied purposes. The statistical population consists of all male and female second-grade high school students in Jafarabad city, totaling 493 individuals. The sample size was determined Using Cochran's formula, resulting in the selection of 218 students. Standardized questionnaires for Abedi Creative Thinking Questionnaire 2013, Ivoril emotional creativity questionnaire 1999, and Questionnaire of executive functions of the rescue brain 2013 were used as data collection tools. The results of the reliability calculation of the questionnaires showed that Cronbach's alpha coefficient was estimated for creative thinking (0.84), emotional creativity (0.92) and brain executive function (0.79). which shows that the questionnaires are at an acceptable level. The data were analyzed using SPSS software, including descriptive and inferential analyses through tables, demographic charts, and regression analysis. The results suggest that executive brain function components can predict both creative thinking and emotional creativity.

Aim: The primary propose of the current study is to propose a model for predicting suicidal ideation based on early maladaptive schemas, with the mediation of interpersonal needs among high school students.Method: Employing a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, the research investigated the interplay between early maladaptive schemas and interpersonal needs. The methodology was purposefully, applied research, correlational in its descriptive nature, and rigorously adherent to the SEM design . The study encompassed the entire second-grade high school student population in Qazvin City during the academic year 2022-2023. A stratified multistage cluster sampling method systematically extracted a random sample of 600 students. Data collection utilized three standardized instruments: Beck's Suicidal Ideation Scale (BSSI), Young Schema-Short Form (YSQ-SF), and the Interpersonal Needs (INQ). Robust data analysis employed SPSS 25 and Smart PLS softwareFindings: The results indicated that maladaptive schemas exerted an indirect influence on suicidal ideation, mediated through interpersonal needs. Conversely, no direct effect of maladaptive schemas on suicidal ideation was observed. Maladaptive schemas, however, exhibited a direct association with interpersonal needs, (thwarted belongingness and perceived burdensomeness), both of which demonstrated a direct correlation with suicidal ideation. The model's adequacy was confirmed through goodness-of-fit indices. Conclusion: The theoretical implications of this study significantly contributed to the understanding of the intricate relationships influencing suicidal ideation among high school students. Furthermore, the practical applications of these findings extended to educational organizations and counseling centers, offering valuable insights for the development of targeted interventions aimed at reducing suicide rates in this demographic.

The present research is devoted to the study of the effect of teaching self-regulation learning strategies (cognition, metacognition) on self-efficacy and mental health of students in Astara city. The statistical population included all the female students of the first high school (second period) of Astara city in the academic year of 1996-1997. Among these students, 46 students were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method and they were randomly replaced into two experimental and control groups. The instruments used were: Pentrich and Groot's self-regulated learning strategies questionnaire (1990) and Goldberg and Hiller's general health questionnaire. (1979). The current research is a semi-experimental research of the pre-test-post-test design type with a control group. After conducting the pre-test for the experimental and control groups, the experimental group was trained in self-regulated learning strategies for 10 sessions of 60 minutes based on the theoretical background of the research of Nunes et al. et al., under the title of "How to comprehensively self-regulate?" Then the post-test was done for the experimental and control groups. The results of multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and univariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed a significant difference in self-efficacy in the experimental group, but this significance was not observed in mental health.

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the concept of culture in the collection of short stories entitled as Lovely,Deep, Dark and I Am No One You Know by Joyce Carol Oates through Fredric Jameson’s theory of postmodern culture. The portraits of women, men, and children show Oates's compassion for the human life in the modern society.According to Jameson, postmodern culture is the internal and superstructural expression of a whole new wave of American military and economic domination throughout the world: in this sense,as throughout class history, the underside of culture is blood, torture, death, and terror.Lovely,Deep,Dark and I Am No One You Know represent the spot of postmodern man’s struggle with his background and real culture. The stories are associated with an avant-garde movement in which nature is gone and this feature can be seen in all collections of the stories. They create a deconstructed condition in which there is no direct relation between social beings. The setting of the stories reminds the postmodern society which is the metaphor for the current American society with a revolutionized culture. The place that the authors have created in the stories is devoid of natural life and happiness. It is a fabricated place in which the people are programmed like robots.Throughout the stories, the authors represent technological pessimism which refers to the sense of disappointment, anxiety, and menace in subjects due to technological issues. The researcher contributes to identify the main cause of Oates’s attack to her characters in these collections. The main purpose of research paper finds the cause of Oates’s message in postmodern world
