چکیده
در صدو پنجاه سال گذشته در مناطق مختلف کردستان قیام هایی بر ضد حکومتهای قاجار و عثمانی شکل گرفته است که قیام شیخ عبیدالله نهری از صو فیان بزرگ پیرو طریقت نقشبندی یکی از آن قیام هاست که به واسطه وجهه ی دینی آن در میان توده های مختلف مردم کُرد بازتاب زیادی داشت. این جنبش که در ابتدا قرار بود علیه ی دولت عثمانی شکل گیرد، با چرخشی، به داخل مرزهای ایران تغییر مسیر داد و مشکلات جدی را برای حکومت های ایران و عثمانی بوجود آورد. این جنبش مدتی از آغاز آن نگذشته بود که شکست خورد و رهبر آن دستگیر و به حجاز تبعید شد.یکی از مسائلی که درباره ی این جنبش مطرح است و تاکنون کمتر مورد توجه قرار گرفته است بازداشت و دستگیری فعالان و مروّجان طریقت نقشبندی در ایران به جرم همکاری با شیخ عبیدالله بوده است که در خارج از مناطق جغرافیایی مناطق کردنشین به تبلیغ طریقت نقشبندیه می پرداختند. این نوشتار به بیان شرح حال یکی از صوفیان نقشبندی به نام شیخ محمود سنندجی (عارف)می پردازد که همزمان با قیام شیخ عبیدالله در شهر تالش در استان گیلان دستگیر و در تهران زندانی می شود ود رنهایت در زندان دارفانی را داع می گوید.این نوشتار اولین گزارش ازاین واقعه است.Sheikh Obeidolla Nahri's Uprising and One of the Naghshbandi Sofei's Biography in Iran
