چکیده
توصیف یکی ازابزارهای مؤثر در تصویرآفرینی و نوعی شیوه بیان است که به وسیله آن می توان اشیا، افراد، رفتارها و صحنه ها را با کلمات آفرید.از آن جا که وصف پیوندی استوار با نوع حماسی دارد به همین دلیل سراینده درحماسه خویش از آن برای تجسم بخشی و تصویر آفرینی بهره میبرد زیرا عنصر توصیف وسیلهای است برای محسوس و ملموستر کردن صحنههای متنوعی که در بستر شعر حماسی روی میدهد. این نوشتار با روش توصیفی – تحلیلی به بررسی موضوع توصیف در کوش نامه ایرانشان ابن ابی الخیر میپردازد.نتایج حاصل از پژوهش نشان می دهد موضوعات مختلفی چون طبیعت، اشخاص، امور انتزاعی، زمان، مکان، اشیا، هدایا، میدان رزم و حیوانات در کوش نامه توصیف شده اند.برای نشان دادن قدرت توصیفگری گوینده منظومه، ابتدا به وصف های او از جنبه دستوری نگریسته و سپس به تحلیل شگردهای دستوری شاعرانه پرداخته شده است.بسامد شگردهای دستوری نسبت به شاعرانه بیشتر است.از بین شگردهای دستوری، صفت دارای بیشترین بسامد است و از میان شگردهای شاعرانه، تشبیه بیشترین بسامد را دارد.علاوه بر این، در منظومه مورد پژوهش، شاعر گاه از چند شگرد وصفی در توصیف یک موضوع واحد استفاده می کند و گاه یک شگرد را به طور متوالی در توصیف موضوعات مختلف به کار می برد.Features of description in kush name

Among grammatical techniques, adjective has the highest frequency and among poetic techniques, simile has the highest frequency. Furthermore, in this system, the poet sometimes uses a few participlus techniques in describing a single subject and sometimes uses a technique successively in describing different subjects.
