چکیده
در این جستار معنیِ دو واژه عروس و حاجب در دو ترکیبِ کشتیِ عروس و حاجبِ خورشید در فرهنگ بزرگ سخن بررسی شده است. این دو ترکیب در تاریخ بیهقی و غزلیّات شمس نیز آمده و در این مقاله با ذکر چند شاهد دیگر و با آوردن دلیل ها و شاهدهایی، یکی دیگر از معنی های این دو واژه به دست داده شده است.A Footnote on the Meanings of the Words “ʿArūs” and “Ḥāǰeb” in Farhang-e Bozorg-e Sokhan
This article examines the meanings of the words “ ʿarūs ” and “ ḥāǰeb ” in the contexts of “ kaštī-ye ʿarūs ” and “ ḥāǰeb-e xoršīd ” in Farhang-e Bozorg-e Sokhan . These compounds are attested in Tārīx-e Bayhaqī and Dīvān-e Šams . By presenting additional evidence and providing reasons and observations, this study reveals another meaning of these two words.
