چکیده
فرهنگ ها از گذشته تا کنون برای بازنمایی انواع اطلاعات آوایی شیوه های گوناگونی را به کار گرفته اند که هریک از این شیوه ها دارای مزایا و معایبی هستند. امروزه در فرهنگ های عمومی علاوه بر صورت آوایی، اطلاعات آوایی بیشتری ارائه می شود که از آن جمله اند گونه های دیگر تلفظ، تکیه، ساخت هجایی و فرایندهای آوایی. این مقاله به بررسی انواع اطلاعات آوایی در فرهنگ های عمومی انگلیسی و فارسی اختصاص دارد و در آن، دو فرهنگ جدیدتر فارسی، یعنی فرهنگ فارسی و فرهنگ روز سخن ، از منظر بازنمایی اطلاعات آوایی بررسی شده اند.Phonetic Information in Monolingual General Dictionaries
Dictionaries have traditionally employed various methods to represent different types of phonetic information, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Today, general dictionaries provide more phonetic information in addition to the phonetic form, such as alternate pronunciations, stress patterns, syllabic structure, and phonetic processes. This article examines the types of phonetic information presented in English and Persian general dictionaries, with a focus on two newer Persian dictionaries, Farhang-e Fārsī and Farhang-e Rūz-e Sokhan, analyzing how they represent phonetic information.
