چکیده
ایران شناسی از جمله رشته های جدید دانشگاهی در حوزه علوم انسانی که طی سالیان اخیر در برخی دانشگاه ها راه اندازی گردیده است. سرفصل آموزشی این رشته متشکل از دروس متنوعی نظیر تاریخ، جغرافیا، باستان شناسی، ادبیات، اسطوره شناسی، فرهنگ مردم و اقتصاد است که میان رشته ای بودن آن را نشان می دهد. ارائه تعریفی اولیه از این رشته، ماهیت و اهداف و موضوع و مبانی روش شناسی آن از جمله مسائل مهمی هستند که پرداختن به آنها ضروری به نظر می رسد. بر این اساس، پژوهش پیش رو کوشیده است تا با گردآوری اطلاعات از منابع مرتبط و با استمداد از تجربیات عملی در این رشته به پرسش های اساسی تحقیق پیرامون ضرورت و اهداف رشته ایران شناسی و اهمیت رویکردهای متعدد روش شناسی در آن پاسخ دهد. یافته های تحقیق بیانگر آن است که رشته ایران شناسی با به کارگیری نگاه چند بعدی و بین رشته ای، شناخت جامع تری در زمینه مسائل مرتبط با فرهنگ و تمدن ایران ارائه می دهد. با این همه، دستیابی به این مهم و نیز معرفت شناسی صحیح در آن تا حدی وابسته به اتخاذ روش شناسی متناسب و کارآمد است. بر این اساس، فهم روش شناسی در نقد دیدگاه ها و آثار ایران شناسان خارجی و نیز دستیابی به شناخت واقع گرایانه تر در این رشته، اهمیت بنیادین دارد.Nature, Necessity, and Methodological Principles of Iranology
Iranology is one of the new academic disciplines in the realm of human sciences which has been recently launched in some universities. The curriculum of this field consists of various courses on history, geography, archeology, literature, mythology, folklore, economics, etc., which demonstrates its interdisciplinary nature. Presenting a preliminary definition of this field and introducing its nature, purposes, subject, and methodological principles are among the most important problems which demand further discussion. Accordingly, the present study aims to respond to a number of fundamentalquestions regarding the necessity and purposes of Iranology and the importance of various related methodological approaches through collecting the required data from authentic sources and resorting to empirical studies in this field. The findings of the study demonstrate that, following an interdisciplinary approach and a multi-dimensional perspective, Iranology provides a more comprehensive knowledge of the problems related to Iranian culture and civilization. However, achieving this important purpose and attaining correct epistemological knowledge depends, to some extent, on adopting an efficient and appropriate methodology. Hence, having an accurate understanding of methodology in criticizing the views and works of foreign Iranologists and obtaining a more realistic knowledge of Iranology is of great significance.
