چکیده
کتاب تاریخی از اسلام و آسیا توسط چیارا فرمیچی، درسال 2020 م در انتشارات دانشگاه کمبریج[1] نیویورک در سیصد و بیست و سه صفحه به چاپ رسیده است. نویسنده دانش آموخته دانشگاه سواز[2] لندن و دانشیار فعلی دانشگاه کرنل آمریکا است[3] و در زمینه مطالعات اسلامی، منطقه آسیا و جنوب شرقی آسیا تدریس می کند.[4] فرمیچی غیر از کتاب حاضر، آثار دیگری در این زمینه مانند مقاله «مطالعات اسلامی یا مطالعات آسیایی؟»(2016) دارد.[5] پژوهشگران دیگری نیز در زمینه اسلام و مطالعات منطقه ای پژوهش کرده اند. ازجمله، مسلمانان چینی و احیای اسلامی امت جهانی از استوارت (2016)؛[6] سکولار و مذهب در مدیریت اسلام در سنگاپور اثر ام .ان. عثمان (2018) ؛[7] اسلام موسمی: تجارت و ایمان در ساحل مالابار قرون وسطایی ، از اس. آر. پرنگ (2018)[8] و سایر منابع که نویسنده از آن ها به عنوان منبع در کتابش استفاده کرده است.Book Review for Islam and Asia: a history
The historical book of Islam and Asia by Chiara Fermichi was published in 323 pages at Cambridge University Press in New York in 2020. The alumnus author of SOAS, London, and current associate professor at Cornell University teaches in Islamic studies, the Asia region and Southeast Asia. Research Literature: Fermichi has other works in this field than the present book. Like the article "Islamic Studies or Asian Studies" (2016)? Recent researchers have also researched Islam and regional studies. Among them, Chinese Muslims and the Islamic Revival of the Global Ummah from Stewart (2016), secularism and religion in the management of Islam in Singapore by M.N.
