Ta'zieh is a national and religious performance that has, in a way, transformed into a ritual in our culture. This performance is inherently rich in elements that demand contemplation regarding their dramatic weight and significance. Ta'zieh is a fully theatrical scene; that is, the staging of a Ta'zieh possesses dramatic characteristics that can be examined from the perspective of the philosophy of theatre, which generally addresses the concepts of performance and staging. Therefore, this article seeks to discuss Ta'zieh from a philosophical perspective, analyzing its different facets and its similarities to and differences from what we commonly call theatre or drama. We aim to analyze Ta'zieh within a new framework, revealing its capacities in light of new theoretical discussions on theatre. In other words, in this article, we are looking for the intersection point of Ta'zieh and the philosophy of theatre, discussions that have largely been neglected in our research literature, all without reducing either domain—Ta'zieh or modern drama—to the other.

Cette étude explore l'utilisation des indications spatio-temporelles dans les œuvres théâtrales de Samuel Beckett, mettant en évidence leur rôle fondamental dans la structuration de ses pièces. Les concepts d’espace et du temps, détachés de leur sens habituel, deviennent des objets obsédants pour les personnages beckettiens, soulignant ainsi la dimension existentialiste et absurde qui caractérise ses œuvres. L’objectif principal de cette recherche est d'analyser comment ces éléments spatio-temporels contribuent à la création d’un univers clos et oppressant, où les personnages sont pris au piège d’un cycle répétitif, sans espoir d’évasion ni de progression. Cette étude repose sur une analyse structurelle qui s'articule autour de trois axes principaux : l’analyse du langage verbal, paraverbal, et de la structure textuelle. Ces approches seront explorées pour montrer comment Beckett utilise les éléments spatio-temporels pour construire un univers théâtral hermétique et oppressant. L’analyse révèle que ces éléments jouent un rôle crucial non seulement dans la caractérisation des personnages, mais aussi dans la création de l’atmosphère théâtrale. Les résultats suggèrent que ces éléments influencent profondément la perception émotionnelle et philosophique du spectateur, ouvrant ainsi de nouvelles perspectives pour les recherches futures sur leur impact dans le théâtre minimaliste. L’étude repose sur les théories de Franck Evrard, Marie-Claude Hubert, Bruno Clément et Anne Ubersfeld, en se concentrant sur les didascalies, les dialogues et les éléments paraverbaux, afin d’éclairer leur rôle dans la construction de l’univers théâtral de Beckett.
