Designing Strategic Competencies Model of Directors of Lorestan Province Education Department(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Pourpose: The aim of research was to design and test the strategic competencies of managers of Lorestan Province Education Department in the school year 2019-2020. Methodology: It was an applied study in terms of purpose and a mixed-exploratory (qualitative/quantitative) one in regards to the method. The statistical population in Delphi Method consisted of 17 experts familiar with the research topic and were selected by targeted sampling. The statistical population in the quantitative section comprised of all presidents, vice-presidents, and directors of education departments across the province. According to Cochran’s formula 87 subjects were selected by stratified sampling. The research tool included an author-made questionnaire with three dimensions, 9 components and 83 indicators. The validity from the lecturers’ viewpoint and reliability based on Cronbach’s alpha test was 0.92. The Delphi method with Kendall’s coefficient was used to analyze data. Model fitting and validation was made by CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and structural equations in Spss and PLs Smart. Findings: Data analysis showed that concerning significance of the model aspects, management was prioritized as factor loading (.98), organizational loading (.93), and individual loading (.90) (P<0/001). Based on t amounts, the significance of factor loadings (route coefficients) of the relationships among the components and strategic competencies aspects was above 2.57 which suggested that factor loadings of all components related to the “individual”, “management”, and “organizational” aspects were meaningful in the level of error α =0.01 (P<0.001, t>2.57). Finally, the suggested model of strategic competencies of directors of education department was 0.61 based on Goodness of Fit (GOF) standard, which was more than 0.35. Conclusion: Based on the present findings, the indigenous model of strategic competencies of managers in the education system can be considered significant.

Designing a Model for Teacher Competencies in Elementary Education(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose: Teacher competencies in the education system is among the most influential and important issues. This importance is rooted in the critical role of teachers in educating people in a society, because the more teachers are prepared and qualified, the greater their impact on upgrading the education system. Methodology: In this regard, upstream documents, as the most extensive strategic and guidance texts, have given much attention to the teacher competencies, with regard to their mission, including directing and drawing the ideal human and the pursuit of a pure life. This study was conducted aimed at presenting a model for the teacher competencies in elementary education based on upstream documents. For this purpose, three major activities were carried out. Initially, upstream documents were examined to identify the components and instances of the teacher competencies, and the opinions of experts in the field were also used. Then, the model of the teacher competencies was designed according to the extracted instances and components. The qualitative method was used in this study and documentary research method was also used to investigate the first question. Findings: In this method, all the upstream documents, including the document of fundamental transformation of education, the national document as well as the scientific documents and literature in this field, were carefully studied so that all explicit and implicit instances and components of teacher training are extracted. Moreover, semi-structured interviews were conducted to gain the viewpoints of the experts in order to achieve the representing themes of competencies through content analysis. Discussion: Finally, the model of professional competencies was designed on the basis of the teacher competencies developed in the previous stages to examine the second question.

Developing a Model of Job Competencies for Bank Saderat Managers(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Purpose: The present study was conducted with the aim of "developing a model of job competencies for managers of Bank Saderat". Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of method and has an inductive approach. The participants of the present study were branch managers and banking experts in Tehran. Since in this study, the aim was to present the competency model of Bank Saderat managers, therefore, purposive sampling method was used. The focus has been on people with more experience in the banking industry. At the beginning, criteria for purposeful selection of experts and managers were considered. Based on these criteria, a list of these experts and managers was prepared to make the necessary arrangements for scheduling and conducting the interview. Therefore, the population of this study was the employees and experts of the bank; Sampling was performed by purposive method and the researcher reached the level of theoretical saturation with 15 people. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. In order to analyze the data, the content analysis method was used. Findings: The research findings showed that after analyzing the data obtained from the interviews and all the basic and organizing topics, 5 comprehensive topics are: - Interpersonal competencies 2- Individual ethics 3- Professional ethics 4- Managerial competencies 5- Competencies Professional; The main components of job competencies of Bank Saderat managers were identified. Conclusion: Considering the compilation of the competency model using the extracted components, it is recommended that standards and criteria based on these components be formulated and designed for hiring managers, and considering that the training and updating of managers is one of the components obtained in This research is recommended that the training of competency programs to managers as well as employees of a complex should be put on the agenda. It is appropriate for managers to help improve organizational behaviors by investing in professional ethics on the people of the organization, and in this way, in addition to benefiting from people with high human capital, they can also benefit from the advantage of expanding the effectiveness of their organization.
