چکیده
تاکنون نظریه های متفاوت و بعضاً متناقضی در تبیین تجربه های نزدیک به مرگ ارائه شده است، اما هریک از این نظریه ها در توجیه برخی از مؤلفه های تجارب مزبور ناکام بوده اند. نوشتار پیش رو بر آن است که نظریه عالم مثال سهروردی می تواند تبیین معقول تری از این تجارب ارائه کند. در نظریه عالم مثال، جهانی تصویرسازی می شود که ویژگی های آن با ویژگی های ناظر بر تجربه های نزدیک به مرگ، همخوانی بسیار زیادی دارد، ازاین رو می توان بر مبنای این نظریه و البته گاهی با تلفیق برخی نظریات دیگر شیخ اشراق، همچون نظره علم اشراقی، انوار قاهره و عالم ذُکر تبیین مقبولی از تجارب نزدیک به مرگ ارائه داد.Explaining the Near-Death Experiences Based on Suhrawardi’s Imaginal World Theory
So far, there have been different and sometimes paradoxical theories about near-death experiences. Nonetheless, each of these theories has been unsuccessful in justifying some components of these experiences. This article suggests that Suhrawardi’s Imaginal World theory can provide a more reasonable explanation of these experiences. In the Imaginal World theory, a world is depicted whose qualities have many similarities to the qualities of near-death experiences. Thus, based on this theory and sometimes through getting help from other theories of Sheikh al-Ishraq – such as Illuminative Knowledge, Dominant Lights, and World of Memorial– we can give in an acceptable explanation of the near-death experiences.
