خلیج فارس در فرهنگ ها و دانشنامه های اوایل ترکیه نوین و عثمانی (مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

چکیده
مناطق جغرافیایی در طول تاریخ با نام های متعدد ذکر گردیده است. معمولاً تا قبل از تشکیل دولت - ملت ها در منطقه خاورمیانه، نام ها به صورت طبیعی انتخاب می شدند و استفاده از آنها بدان نام نیز ادامه می یافت. اما، بعد از تشکیل دولت - ملت های مدرن در خاورمیانه و رواج ملی گرایی در این منطقه، در راستای ملت سازی در تمامی کشورهای منطقه، نام های خاص به جای نام هایی که به صورت طبیعی و در طول تاریخ ایجادشده بود، تأکید شد. این موضوع برای خلیج فارس نیز صدق می کند. بیشترین نام مورداستفاده برای خلیج فارس در متون و نقشه های تاریخی مخصوصاً غربی، خلیج فارس و یا بحر فارس بوده است. در این رابطه، علی رغم تحقیقات زیادی که در خصوص نام خلیج فارس انجام گرفته شده است، به ندرت تحقیقات مرتبط در رابطه با مدخل خلیج فارس در فرهنگ ها و دانشنامه های عثمانی انجام شده است. ازاین رو، این پژوهش در تلاش است با روش تحلیلی و توصیفی، به ترجمه و بررسی مدخل های مربوط به خلیج فارس در فرهنگ ها و دانشنامه های معتبر اواخر عثمانی و اوایل ترکیه نوین به منظور ارائه اطلاعات تاریخی در مورد خلیج فارس بپردازد. در این راستا مدخل های مرتبط با خلیج فارس در هفت نمونه از فرهنگ ها و دانشنامه های عثمانی و ترکیه نوین موردبررسی و تحلیل قرارگرفته است. نتایج پژوهش نشان می دهد، مدخل خلیج فارس جایگاه ویژه در متون فوق داشته است و برای نام خلیج فارس، هر دو نام بحر فارس و بصره کورفزی یا خلیج بصره مورداستفاده قرارگرفته و ارجحیتی در استفاده از آن، حداقل در منابع بررسی شده فوق دیده نمی شود. کاربرد خلیج بصره در دوره عثمانی بیشتر به دلیل وصل امپراتوری عثمانی از طرف بصره به خلیج فارس صرفاً در دوره دولت عثمانی بوده است. ولی خلیج فارس هم قبل و هم در آن دوران و همچنین دوران بعد از عثمانی نیز همیشه مورداستفاده قرارگرفته است.Persian Gulf in the Early Modern Turkey and Ottoman Lexicons and Encyclopedias
There have been many changes in geographical names throughout history. After the formation of the modern nation-state in the Middle East and then the spread of nationalism in the region, geographical names played a significant role in their national identity. This method of naming also holds true for the name of the Persian Gulf. The name of the Persian Gulf has been used as the most common name in history. In this respect, despite a great deal of research on the name of the Persian Gulf, there has been little research linked to the Persian Gulf entry in Ottoman and Turkish lexicons and encyclopedias.This paper focuses on the entries of the Persian Gulf in early modern Turkey and the Ottoman lexicon and encyclopedia, which were written before the establishing of modern nation-states in the Middle East. This research is new to his field, as no research was found regarding the Persian Gulf entry in the Turkish and Ottoman lexicons and encyclopedias. In this research, by adopting a descriptive-analytic method, the associated entries in the seven Turkish and Ottoman sources were translated and analyzed.The results of this study show that the entries of the Persian Gulf hold a special place in modern Turkish and Ottoman sources. When it comes to the Persian Gulf, they used Baṣra Körfezi, Baḥr-i Fârs, and ʿAcem. These names are equal to one another, and there is no preference for their use. Furthermore, it was only used in the Ottoman era. However, the Persian Gulf has always been used both before and during this period, and also in the post-Ottoman period.
