چکیده
مرزهای شرقی ایران از دیرباز مورد هجوم اقوام همسایه قرار داشته است. اقوام آریایی از همین مرزها وارد فلات ایران شدند. بنابر برخی روایات، کوروش هخامنشی، جان خود را برای حفاظت از این مرزها از دست داده است. تداوم مسئله فوق در زمان ساسانیان چالش هایی را برای این حکومت به همراه داشت. هر اندازه که مرزهای غربی ایرانشهر ساسانی برای ایشان مهم و پرخطر بود، مرزهای شرقی نیز از اهمیت ویژه ای برخوردار بوده است. از نشانه های تأیید این موضوع، وجود دیوارها و قلعه های متعدد در این مناطق برای جلوگیری از یورش این اقوام مهاجم به داخل قلمرو است. یکی از اقوامی که به مرزهای شرقی ایران یورش می آوردند، هپتالیان بودند. هدف اصلی پژوهش حاضر بررسی دلایل وقوع جنگ با هپتالیان در دوران زمامداری پیروز است. پژوهش حاضر با روش و رویکرد توصیفی- تحلیلی با استناد به منابع کتابخانه ای سعی در یافتن پاسخی مناسب برای این پرسش دارد که چه دلایلی در حمله پیروز علیه هپتالیان تاثیرگذار بوده است؟ یافته های پژوهش حاضر نشان می دهد دلایل زیادی برای حمله پیروز علیه هپتالیان وجود داشته است، اما دلیل اقتصادی را می توان از مهمترین دلایل در وقوع این جنگ ها به شمار آورد.Analysis of the reasons for the wars between peroz and hephthalites (459 AD- 484 AD)
The eastern borders of Iran have long been attacked by neighboring tribes. Aryan tribes entered the Iranian plateau from these borders. According to some traditions, Achaemenid Cyrus lost his life to protect the same borders. The continuation of this border problem during the Sassanid era brought challenges for this government. As much as the western borders of Sasanian Eranshahr were important and dangerous for them, the eastern borders also had special importance. One of the signs confirming this claim was the existence of numerous walls and castles in those areas to prevent the invasion of the invading tribes into the territory. One of the tribes that attacked the eastern borders of Iran were the Hephthalites. This study aimed to investigate the reasons for the wars with Hephthalites during the reign of Peroz I. The present research, with descriptive-analytical method and reference to library sources, tried to answer the question of the reasons effective in Peroz's attack against Hephthalites. The findings of the present research show that there were many reasons for Peroz's attack against the Hephthalites, but the economic reason can be considered as one of the most important reasons for the occurrence of these wars.
