There are two sources for governments to raise their revenues. The first is the direct taxation levied on output, and the second is seigniorage. Seigniorage is also known as printing new money and is defined as the value of real resources acquired by the government through its power of sovereignty on its monopoly of printing money. The purpose of this paper is to examine the Laffer curve for Seigniorage in the economy of Iran through data-set collected from the statistical books of the central bank of Iran related to the time period 1979-2010. For this purpose, we use a methodology that is based on the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm that is widely used in the context of pattern recognition, and the Takagi-Sugeno approach which is proper for modeling fuzzy systems. This methodology is exceptionally flexible and provides a computationally tractable method of dealing with non-linear models in high dimensions. Our findings support a standard Laffer curve shape in Iran. In other words, it will be concluded through empirical results that there is a nonlinear relationship between seigniorage and inflation for the economy of Iran in the time period studied in this paper. During the last decade, several studies have argued that sticky information model proposed by Mankiw and Reis (2002), in which firms update their information occasionally rather than instantaneously, explains some stylized facts about the inflation dynamics. Sticky information pricing model successfully captures the sluggish movement of aggregate prices in response to monetary policy shocks. Despite the importance of sticky information, no empirical studies have been done yet to estimate sticky information Philips Curve (SIPC) and its key parameter - the degree of information rigidity - in Iran. This paper is the first attempt to estimate the degree of information stickiness in Iran using the two stage empirical approach proposed by Khan and Zhu (2006). Having the correct structural parameter allows a better understanding of the dynamics of inflation. Results show that the average duration of information stickiness ranges from 3.2 to 4 quarters in Iran. In addition, the existence of threshold effects in SIPC is also tested in this paper. Based on the estimation of TAR model over 2002Q2- 2015Q1, firms update information faster when inflation is higher. This evidence suggests that firms are more aware of macroeconomic conditions when inflation is higher; that is, missing information during high inflation periods is costly. The research has contributed extensively in the area of Good Governance and Supportive Work Culture since there was very limited study on their relationship from theories studied. But this research results achieved that because it’s been significant in the path model. There were several researches on Good governance and Job Satisfaction and, Supportive Work Culture and Job Satisfaction but not much is proving on Good Governance and Supportive Work Culture as the main research gap identified in the theoretical model. This research has confirmed that there is strong relationship between Good Governance and Supportive Work Culture. This result has showed that Good Governance effects Job Satisfaction through Supportive Work Culture partially mediated because Good Governance can have some direct effects to Job Satisfaction without Supportive Work Culture mediating since it is not a complete mediation. This is a scientific research paper with the aim to add findings knowledge to researcher fratanity.
