Jihadi Management

Jihadi management is a set of features along with managerial scientific structure and revolutionary and Velayati values to make a very strong driving force for the country to pass crises. Concerning its importance, present paper identifies the traits of Jihadi management in improving managers’ performance. Current study is a survey for which a questionnaire is used to gather data. To realize research aims, 384 middle and operational managers in companies and organizations in Tehran were considered as sample. Structural equation modeling (SEM) and confirmatory factors analysis (CFA) as well as LISREL and SPSS software packages were used to analyze data and to test research hypotheses and model. Research findings indicate significant impact by Jihadi traits such as “managers’ strong and good associations with employees”, “managers’ accountability and responsibility”, “obligation to commitments” , “authentication in affairs”, “designations” and “meritocracy” on managers’ performance.

In today's cultural theories, the term "Representation" refers to the relationship between an artwork and the reality considered external to the artwork. The intended fact in this study is "Jihadi Management" in the sacred defense. Applying some managerial experiences simultaneously with the formation of the Islamic Revolution and the observation of tangible and significant achievements of these experiences, especially the experience of the sacred defense, has confirmed the existence of entirely indigenous (Islamic-Iranian) management models in Iran. One prominent example of such a management model is the theory or style of jihadi management. The present study is conducted to answer two main questions: First, ‘What are the characteristics of a jihadi management model based on the experience of sacred defense?’ And second, ‘What are the implications of representing this model from the perspective of communication science?’ In this regard, researchers based on a qualitative approach and using the "Content Analysis" research strategy have purposefully collected textual data and conducted semi-structured interviews. Findings indicate the formation of a conceptual model of jihadi management of holy defense under three categories of central themes of "Structural Dimension" (including four sub-themes), "Behavioral Dimension" (including six sub-themes) and "Contextual Dimension" (including five sub-themes) based on statements of the interviewees. Finally, the implications of representation of this model from the perspective of communication science are presented in three sections: the content, method, and tools of representation.

Purpose : The present study aimed to provide a jihadi management model to align the goals of Iranian Schools in the Digital Age, which was inevitable during the corona pandemic. Method : The grounded theory method has been used due to the lack of a codified model of jihadi management. The statistical population was experts and professors in the field of education and the system of education. The snowball technique was used to sample the population. A total of 11 education experts were interviewed. In the data research, the researcher performed data analysis including open coding, axial coding, and selective coding simultaneously with the data collection stage which was performed using a semi-structured interview. Reliability, data originality, relevance, and reliability were used to assess validity and reliability. Findings : The findings showed that 15 main and pivotal categories led to the design of the jihadi management model of education. Categories based on causal, contextual, intervention and consequences include jihad-centered culture, jihadist structure, jihadist growth-oriented, jihadist-centered education, jihadist meritocracy, spiritual values, society supporting jihadism, revolutionary and pragmatic culture, the adaptation of jihad-centered Administrative system, rule of law based on jihad, job coordination with jihad, family and cultural education, teaching jihad principles, monitoring, and evaluation, and developing a jihad-centered structure. Conclusion : Therefore, for proper jihadi management in schools, various factors are involved that provide the basis for management. Also, the need for this type of jihadi management and training is felt more in our country.
